Ijoy 20700 Battery, 3000 mAh

Great batteries, however, the case I was given was like one of those headphone cases with a zip. This is just downright dangerous and asking for trouble - hence the 2 stars. I proved this myself by giving the vendor the benefit of the doubt and tried it out. A fully charged battery at 4.2v was put in the case for safe keeping. In the morning I tried out the battery and I was getting a very poor response from it, I put it back in the charger and lo and behold it registered at just 2.7v. So not only had the case drained the battery, it had drained it to an unsafe level. Suffice to say the case is now in the bin and I will be buying a proper case that I should have been provided with in the first place.

The original IJoy 20700 40A in the photo had 5 "legs" around the positive connection and was shown to be only 30A in tests, but still a safe (and great) battery for low resistance builds. The battery that I received was the 4 leg version, which has been tested and shown to be only 20A. To put that into English: On paper, both versions are safe to 0.105Ohms. In tests the old version of this battery, the one in the picture, was safe down to 0.14Ohms. This one is only safe down to 0.21Ohms. Essentially, this is only half as safe as it says it is. I'd recommend buying another battery such as an AmpKing.

For those of you in the 20700 curve at the moment, these arrived as they should be with the 5-connection cap (watch out for the new cell they are wrapping the same which is NOT safe at the rating this one is- look it up). As described, quick delivery.

Great as a 20700 can be, these are the 5 legged genuine 20700 IJoy Cells great solid 30A 3000 mah battery.More power and more vape time than your average 18650 cell, fast delivery would buy from Vipertech again.

Love them, thought they were a bit expensive - bu the battery life I get makes up for it, I use it with a box mod - squonk style, and it last's most of the day and I chain vape!
