YouTubed how to repair my lawnmower as my husband is in Kuwait. Identified the part I needed. Went to my local lawnmower business and the cost was double what i paid on Amazon.

This cable was a perfect for the original one.

This beats duct tape and baling wire. The first one I bought lasted a little over a year and then the cable frayed somewhere in the housing, jamming it. I am on my second. It's worth about ten bucks a year to have the dead man switch and not have to deal with the melting plastic furniture clamp above the muffler when I want to start/stop the engine.

The new cable for my mower was very reasonably priced and arrived at my door in less than 1 week from the time I placed my order. Most of all though, I'm glad I didn't have to drive to different stores to find this item.

A little longer than I would have like but it worked perfectly. I just cooked a loop in the middle to take up the slack.
