Neca ALIENS - Action Figure Colonial Marines 2-Pack 30TH Ann. - 17cm

With the improved sculpts and range of accessories this is almost an 'ultimate' marines release from NECA.The two most memorable marines from Aliens are brought together for a re-release and 30th Anniversary special. Having missed out on the original releases, this was a great opportunity to add to my collection.As ever, NECA bring the detail. I this case, it's small touches like the personalised armour and detailed faces that set them apart from standard army figures. The motion trackers look great, and the straps feel sturdy and realistic. The limbs are a little stiff at first but soon shoulder lamps can be a bit tricky to attach, but there are spaces in the armour and the body for them to slot into. Accessories are mostly identical for both, with the exception of Hicks' shotgun and holster (brilliantly rendered by the way).The heads are a bit controversial. The helmets on both are great, but the accompanying heads just aren't quite right. Hicks' helmeted head is a bit cross-eyed and generic, whereas Hudson's is better but doesn't really capture Paxton. Hicks' helmet-free head looks just like him, with a concerned look that is the right side of neutral. Hudson's is far from neutral, being a look of pure horror. Personally I'd have loved a more devilish look that represented his comical character more, but given the context the figure is likely to feature in that would often be out of place. However, it's immediately recognisable as the legend that was Bill Paxton.Considering this is just over £25 per figure, it's a great deal for two high quality versions of two important characters from the Alien series.

To much dark muttering, about 'you've opening the box!' I opened the box, how else are supposed to wake up Hick's? All are convinced I having finally lost the plot, but was very sad over late great Bill Paxton. I loved Hudson and these figures are just wonderful! So detailed, and all the extras. And two in one box, you can't loose. Intact, I'm going to worry people some more and make a display, I'm getting some Aliens next.......

Neca did a good job here! Not as good as their portraits of Arnie as Dutch but good enough. The likeness on the Hudson character is really good, Hicks slightly off. Great extras and good articulation. A recommendation for sure

Great item I bought as a birthday present and wanted to keep them. Very cool.

I'm a big aliens fan and not long started collecting neca figures.so if you collect figures or just a fan of aliens I recommend this 2 pack hicks and hudson.I think the detail on both figures are awesome especially hudson the extra head that comes with him is amazing.

The sculptwork and painting on these figures is phenomenal, and I'm blown away by how authentic these things look! If you're a fan of Aliens I'd highly recommend picking this set up for the sheer geek value. The posability of both figures are varied enough for two handed weapon poses, a decently convincing kneel, movement poses, etc. You get a wealth of extras with the trackers, shotgun and holster bag (which can fold over the shotgun and close amazingly), as well as hand held welding torches which can peg onto the Marines' combat harnesses. The only thing I will say is to look around online for them, as right now this set is way above its regular MSRP (I only paid about $38 for the set a month or two ago), definitely don't be had by a scalper!

Cumple con el standar de calidad de la prestigiosa firma Neca. Figuras muy bien articuladas, con buen nivel de detalle y bien equipadas con accesorios. Ideal para ampliar la colección de figuras de la pelicula Aliens.

No lo he abierto, pero parecen, en principio autenticas Neca y no copias chinas. El problema viene cuando tras la compra te cobran en aduanas de España 30,02 euros extra de dinero, la broma te cuesta al final 113,52 euros (56,76 euros cada figura). Advertidos estáis al hacer la compra desde Europa. Aparentan estar bien pintadas como ya es habitual en Neca con calidad 9 de 9 (haber si dura). Incluyen dos caras cada marine (con muchas articulaciones) y varios accesorios. No me gusto que no vengan en caja, pues para sacarlas hay que romper el blister no pudiendo guardar las figuras en el, muy mal por Neca en este sentido. Recomiendo la compra pero teniendo en cuenta lo comentado.

Let's rock! NECA's Aliens line is pure awesomeness, and these figures are no exception! Each marine comes with a Pulse Rifle, welding tool, proximity detector, mounted armor light thing, and alternate interchangeable heads! As far as articulation, overall paint apps, sculpt, and scale go, these guys deliver. They fit in well with my other NECA figures, and make excellent adversaries for any Xeno figure (or what have you)! If you're interested in this set, just do it, get these guys before they sell out again and inevitably go up in price. Don't wanna be saying, "Game over, man".*My only complaint is specific to my set. One of my Hicks heads has a paint flaw on an eye, but its an easy fix.
