KONGHuggz Fox - Interactive Plush Dog Toy, Squeaks for Added Fun - Large

Bought this for my 2yr old shar pei cross for Christmas. She loves anything squeaky and this seemed perfect. I believed that being a Kong toy it would be durable and last her, unfortunately it lasted less than 20 minutes, she punctured it within first few minutes and we had to take it off her by 20 as she had invested some of it. Which ended up in a lump 2 hours later on the rug. Along with the rest of the contents of her stomach. This is a great toy and she absolutely loved it, it just wasn't fit for purpose. Perhaps that was my ignorance but I assumed being from Kong it would be more durable.

I got this delivered today and gave it to my german shepherd straight away. He absolutely adores it. It is soft on the outside but is very robust, has some sort of bendy tough plastic underneath so he can't burst through it. He loved the squeek too, he cried with delight as he chewed on it to hear the fabulous noise (loud enough to wake my sleeping toddler upstairs!) But after 10 minutes the squeeker stopped working. I played about with it to see if it was lodged somewhere inside the tough plastic but couldnt fix it. Its still a great toy but my pup will miss the squeek soon and lose interest. He's still (5 hours later) trying to find the squeek. Bless him

With a hyper Poodle, whose job in life-according to him that is, to see how quickly he can destroy a squeak! Or, bit off ears, arms or legs.. Apart from a bit off one ear. This toy has stood a massive test, when you give it to our little man. Its still in one piece, and has the loudest squeak I have EVER heard, from a toy, and I have had this breed for over 30 years. I have also road tested ever new toy I think he won't manage to destroy. But he does. Not this one. In fact we bought a 2nd one, to have one upstairs and one downstairs. It takes a lot for me to recommend a toy. Without hesitation, this is one I will. For once long toy has lived up to, what they say it will do. The fact that, he will fall asleep on it means, he has indeed went mad! Fantastic toy, and arrived quickly too. Double 5 stars we say. P.A.W.

Bought this for Christmas for my Border Collie. I wanted to see how long it would last before writing this review, it is now September and the squeaker has only just stopped. She has a love hate relationship with my partner, so now and then she gets into a mood where she gets hold of a toy and squeaks it until she calms down.She also doesn't like my daughter going out. So instead of barking all the time she gets hold of the fox and squeaks it until my daughter is out of sight. This has been the best squeaky toy she had ever had. It is very hard wearing. She hasn't been able to puncture it with her teeth either.I highly recommend this toy

Well, i have bought a lot of kong toys over time and have never really been impressed with any as they last no longer than a 99p toy with my staff but i continue to but them.because there is such a huge variety and I spoil my pooch. But this one I have to say lasted a long while. Not the outside so much but it did take him a while to get his teeth into it because of the shape and the fact that the whole inside is a very tough plastic casing. Which he loved in itself once he had chomped off the fur. I would defo buy one of these again. But beware, as with all kongs soft toys the fur is a nightmare to get off your rug/carpet.

I was really not impressed with this at all. It cost me the best part of a tenner, and its essentially a 50p vinyl toy you can grab 3 of for a quid at the pound shop encased in fabric.The squeaker was gone in under 2 minutes and thats just with playing fetch and the dog pressing down with its jaws, then 5 minutes later the fabric was torn from just claws and the rest destroyed by chewing in less than 10 minutes.Its seriously about time that pet companies started introducing toughness ratings on toys, i have a 4.5 year old huskamute and this is the worst kong toy she has ever had. Wouldnt even give it a tough rating of 0.What a waste of money!

My dog absolutely loved this, he played with it for ages and it withstood his big powerful had, however, I have a confession to make...the squeak absolutely did my head in and I poked a skewer through the squeak to render it silent, unfortunately, this led to the dog devouring it and it turned into labotomy bear, the poor blue bear with a gaping hole in his brain!The dog still enjoyed it, but not quite as much. Feeling a pang of guilt for ruining the bear and my beloved friends enjoyment of it, I ordered a new one, and he loves me for it. I promised that I won't ruin the squeak on this one, but maybe it should come with earplugs!

Got this for my new dog. She really likes it and took it up to bed with her the first night. She has a mad 10 minutes with it every day biting it and tossing it around. So far it has survived this treatment. Kong toys were recommended by a friend who said they were tougher than others. I particularly like that the squeaker in this toy is right down the middle so it squeaks no matter where she grabs it - a hit.
