Delicious coffee
don’t let the people saying the coffee bags split deter you from purchasing this coffee, I have had 20 now none have split they must be doing something wrong (I don’t know how you could possibly get it wrong) taste is 10/10 leave the bag in for a stronger coffee taste you can smell the coffee in my living room it’s so strong in a good way, delicious.I have returned to edit this review to let you all know I have almost finished the all 50, I now have 3 coffee bags left to drink and none have burst or split from the 47 I have drank so far, it’s safe to say the other reviewers had probably received a bad batch, or somehow they are doing it wrong.

Lovely Product - More Quality Control Required
SINCE WRITING THIS POST 12 HOURS AGO IVE HAD ANOTHER 2 SPLIT BAGS FROM THIS BATCH. THATS MORE THAN 20% OF MY ORDER THATS BEEN UNUSEABLE. CAN I HAVE A REPLACEMENT PLEASE? I've been buying this product for some time now. First in tins and now bags of coffee on subscribe and save. It has a good rounded roast and flavour and is very easy to use. Pretty much mess free for much of the time. However, out of a bag of 50 coffee bags I can guarantee there will be at least 2 split bags. This morning I had my 9th split bag out of my last batch of 50. Sadly, its not always obvious the bag is split until it is in the water and coffee grinds are floating to the top. It completely spoils my morning cuppa and makes it a messy and unpleasant experience. Please, please, please can better quality control be employed. Otherwise I may have to change to a different product. Thank you.

Great taste easy to makeI was a little worried about other reviews saying the bags spilt,im on bag 11 so far with no spilting! I can see why people say they are spilting them " they are makeing it worng!! "if you pour hot water from a great high on to the bag I will most like split like some tea bags . So my tip is pour the water down the side on the cup (not directly on to the coffee bag ) or put the bag in after the water and lightly push it down under the water with a spoonI will count if any of the 100 I ordered splits if so I will let you know

Good coffee, poor bags
I bought these coffee bags for hiking so I could have real coffee out in the wilds. Just add hot water, leave, and enjoy! However, out of the first ten bags I've used, five have split. This is very disappointing.The coffee itself tastes very good - dark and rich - just the way I like it, but the bags are very poor. I've checked them before using, carried them in a separate container to protect them, and still some burst.I get the bags need to be porous enough for the water to permeate the grounds, but they shouldn't spontanioulsy burst even when they aren't stirred. Surely they should be strong enough to survive having hot water poured over them? Otherwise, they aren't fit for purpose.I guess I'll go back to carrying filter papers and a coffee drip on my hiking trips :-(

Similar to bean to cup.
These coffee bags were surprisingly good.They had a rich strong flavour, similar to bean to cup, with a nice caffeine hit! 😳I didn't suffer with the problem of the bags breaking, that other reviewers had complained about.I used these whilst camping, and I simply added the bag to the water after it had boiled, rather than pour the water onto the bag.I let it brew for a few minutes, and it was perfect, no problems.The only downside for me personally, is that the product is quite weighty, so not ideal for camping if you're hiking as well.But most people will not have this problem.Overall, good strong, quality coffee, I highly recommend!😊

Convenient for coffee lovers who can’t pack a coffee maker
These are tasty, but they do take a bit of experimentation to make a good cup of coffee. As I’m writing this, I’m sipping coffee made with 1 bag steeped for 3 minutes, 1 tsp honey and a fair bit of unsweetened Almond Milk. This has been my favourite way to enjoy these. Also I must add that I’m using water from a water heater rather than a kettle and the maximum temperature is 75 C, and I don’t know if this is good or bad in terms of extracting maximum flavour from the ground coffee. Regardless, this is a convenient solution for someone who loves real coffee but can’t pack a French Press or something similar.

Excellent value ‘medium strength’ coffee bags - recommended
These coffee bags were a bargain - 100 cost less than the price of 50 and not much more than even fewer. I’ve been ‘doing the rounds’ a bit on different brands of coffee bags recently, and whilst these are not quite as strong as some others, and I will continue searching for the Holy Grail, these are very nice (smooth, medium roast I’d say) and the longer you leave them to brew the more intense the flavour anyway. For certain, though, these are the best bang-per-buck-per-bag I have found, by some margin in fact, so get 5 stars.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging. The Leatherman tool feels very premium and sturdy.
Place the coffee bag in a cup or mug and pour over freshly boiled water. Leave to brew for 2-3 mins stirring and squeezing the bag occasionally before removing.
