Will this work on a Fire Tablet?

We haven't tried it, but as far as we are aware Fire Tablets are Android based...so it should be possible, as long as USB OTG is supported by the tablet, it is running a modern version of Android, and you have full access to the operating system to install the appropriate software. Thanks!

Where can i get an sma male connector for the interface cable. non of my local suppliers knows anything about sma and even amazon does not stock them.

It's a standard ama connector. Search for SMA adaptors or leads in amazon, there's quite a lot to choose from.

Would this hardware be supported with dump1090 on an ubuntu desktop + a modern raspberry pi? are any of the antennas useful for ads-b signal?

HiI use dump 1090 with the NooElec but wouldn't know about ubuntu or raspberry pi as I use windows 10 64bit and planeplotter,there are several articles on the web about Raspberry Pi,as to the aerials I did use the telescopic one for acars and it did work with ads-b . but I find there is much better range with an external aerial and I have these now for acars and ads-b
