Still it's better than stepping all the notes individually in to Sibelius
Takes a lot but by no means all of the work out of transposition on most scores. Still it's better than stepping all the notes individually in to Sibelius.

I'm fully disappointed.
I'm fully disappointed. I used Photoscore 7 lite to read scores and send them to sibelius. It wasn't perfect of course because I had to rectify a lot of things and correct a lot of errors. I thought, maybe it's because the software I'm using is Lite and not Pro. So I decided to buy this very expensive Photoscore 8 Pro to make my life easier and reduce the effort put to corret those errors, and guess what!! Even with this pro version I have to rectify and correct a lot of errors. Maybe if I enter the notes manually on Sibelius it'll be better, because I'll spend approximately the same time used to rectify and correct errors.

Does even better than the demo version - and even works for a non-music-reading person!
I tested this fairly thoroughly with the Demo version, and I am even more pleased with the full version, which reads across pages and allows me to save my work. I am a happy camper!

Color me severely disappointed.
Bought this software with the hope that it would be capable of reading my PDF music files and converting them to MusicXML files that would be readable by Sibelius 8 or other similar software. Not a chance! It makes huge mistakes reading well defined pdf files by leaving out notes, replacing them with notes that were not part of the original pdf file and transposing the entire score without asking. For my purposes it was several hundred dollars down the drain. Color me severely disappointed.

Product ok, support baaaad
Whatever you do, hold on to your Product ID. I have used the Photoscore product for over 5 years, and it was quirky but had its uses. Anyway, my husband bought me a new computer, and when I went to install the program onto it, it asked for my Product ID. Well, I no longer have it (it's been 5 years!) I'm almost certain I registered the product, buyt they could not locate me in their database. I called the company (in London, no less!) They didn't answer, (no surprise) but emailed me back the next day. After much email correspondence, they let me know that without a receipt or product ID, they could not help me. I can't even upgrade, I would have to pay full price! Nice racket they got going. I am very disappointed in this company.

Need help line and can't find it
I think this is a wonderful product, but some of the installation instructions were vague. Now it's crashing on me (second time I've used it). And I cannot find a help site or phone number. Has anyone else found help? (I wrote that on March 28 and gave it 2 stars.)On April 16, my "stars" have changed to "star." I have had a LOT of trouble with this program. Kelly's Music and Computers did not respond to my quest for help, and the Avid company in England responded by saying, "Check online under the help button." I am asking for my money back.
