Sealed in packaging. Just run memtest on all 8G DIMMs for 3 hours and all working OK
The DIMMs arrived sealed in the package - so new for £14 20250314.Looks exactly the same as my last upgrade DIMM for the same old machine (was built in 2014), which was a CCL choice 8G for 4 x the price ( in 2019 ) - so this product is great value.Booted up now with 32 G and started OS ok.Just run memtest on all 4 8G DIMMs for 4 hours with no errors and all working OK.I guess it will be fine, and the memory quality is good.I like to have lots of web pages open, so this machine is still working fine with some SSDs replacing the 10 year old HDDs.32G RAM means no swapping out . . .

Well worth the price
Used these to upgrade my Dell PC from 8GB to 16GB and so far no problems... all working well and apps work faster because of more memory etc..

New lease of life for my pc.🎉🎉
I have a windows 10 pc that after the last couple of updates has been running very slow and laggy. After looking into it I found that once I had a couple of things running the system was using over 7gb of 8gb installed of RAM so having to buffer data on hard drive meaning that the hard drive was running at 100% most of the time. So decided to up the RAM hoping that it would it would save having to buy a new pc. On checking I found that the motherboard would except a max of 16gb DDR3. As this was a educated guess that it would improve/solve the problem I didn’t want to over pay for a premium brand did a bit of Googling and found a number on favourable reviews for Timetec so decided to give them a try. RAM arrived next day well packed, installed easily, pc and windows recognised it without any problems. PC is now running as well if not better than when it was new no matter how much I push it. Doing the same tests now as I found that the system is still using about 7gb of RAM but far less hard drive capacity. I was so impressed by the improvement that I have now upgraded my other 2 PC’s 1 to 16gb and the other to 32gb. It seams to me that although latest version of windows 10 will run on less RAM it runs much better on 16gb obviously your processor and hard drive will also have an impact but definitely 16gb of RAM.I Will definitely use again next time I need more RAM.

Easy to install
Just wanted to do a cheap upgrade for an old PC tower I had. I thought I could have it as a spare just to surf the web. It had 2 x 4gb ram ram (8 in total) and I checked with crucial what type of ram I needed (an online pc check) . Such a good way of finding out the maximum ram you need for your pc, so you can't go wrong because it checks your pc motherboard, mine has only 2 ram slots. It said I could put in 2 x 8gb ram DDR3 in my pc. Not the fastest ram, but for less than £60 I had a cheap upgrade. It worked a dream and so easy to install. I'm not an engineer but don't be frightened of doing it yourself. I've now got a fairly good upgraded pc which I use just to surf the web. It probably wouldn't be any good doing complicated stuff and I wouldn't recommend intensive stuff such as gaming, but for surfing it will be fine.

Second Purchase - Very Pleased
Purchased for a Dell X51 AAlienware for a family member to giver the PC a bit more welly after installing Windows 11. Original memory was 8 Gb Samsung, but this compatible memory from Timetec went in with no problems at all. This was 2 x 8Gb modules ia bought as a 16 Gb upgrade Kit, so the system is not maxed out at 16 Gb.There were no errors fromt he BIOS and no issues using it at all. The system, is running faster after boot with browsing certainly speeded up as well as email client loading much faster.I bough a 32 Gb kit for the other Alienware Aurora R4 and that has been equally reliable and brilliant. Because of that I bought this memory again from Timetec as a result, so can highly recommend them.A very good price and for these systems that are working perfectly well despite being 10 years old, I suggest if you are considering a memory upgrade, that you get it now as memory for older systems is becoming harder to get. Keep your old memory in the new memory packaging as a backup though.

Great replacement for faulty RAM stick
Just dropped one of the sticks into my desktop and the RAM problems disappeared. Decided to fit the other stick to take machine up to 16G. PC now working better than ever - just a pity Microsoft will not allow me to upgrade it to Windows 11. May have to switch it over to Linux when the time comes.
