Hello, The measurements of each size are below, take a look at the chest cirecumference, i.e the wrap all the way around the chest, so if you are Slim and want a longer drop at 127cm then go for teh XL, but the wrap around will be 130cm, take a tape measure and wrap it around to see if it gives ample space, remember you want it loose around you so it wraps over not tight, hope this help, as an example I am 5 ft 9 inches and I use a Medium and its a very goodd size for me.Medium: Chest Circumference 118cm - Drop 122cm Large: Chest Circumference 124cm - Drop 122cm XL: Chest Circumference 130cm - Drop 127cm XXL Chest Circumference 138cm - Drop 130cm

It is not ankle length, for me it comes to about the knee. I wear it for lounging about my flat and find it very comfortable.
