Good for what they are. They're sold as pasta tongs, but I bought them because they have actual tines and offer a better grip on meats and such. But that's a mixed blessing; they sometimes won't let go of the food! But that's also good because there's less risk of them letting go and making a mess.Also, they could open just a bit wider... but they're fine. BTW, they don't lock, so I don't see why the review wants me to rate that non-existent feature.

I got pasta tongs from Pampered Chef and found them hard to use and way to long. I got these tools and they were spot on! Just what I needed for all the pasta dishes I prepare!

So having dropped or had slippery mishaps with the designer silicone models, which have no "teeth" for gripping I chose these and am overall pleased with their performance. Withheld 1 star because the body metal edges are REALLY REALLY sharp and actually cut my hand. I was able to smooth out edges with my electric rotor tool. Great wih pasta and removing items from my airfryer.

Not as easy to use as regular tongs

Nice design. The tongs are strong and stiff because of the reinforced handles. Won't bend during use or under pressure.

Metal isn't very durable.

The usual pasta scoop works well but the rings are very thin and I can tell won’t last long. If you get any melted Parmesan on the tongs, it is very difficult to remove. The tongs are almost like a higher quality disposable flatware. It is not stainless steel.

Don't waste your money, we've had ours a few weeks used at the most twice and already they are going rusty, they've got a really cheap feel to them ,sorry to put this but its true.

We bought these not for pasta or salad, but for picking up big slimy slugs from the garden and relocating them.Brilliant for this job, but if you do the same, remember not to use them for salads afterwards !
