I have an amateur radio licence and so I am able to technically test this unit. It has excellent sensitivity from 4 MHz to 240 MHz, which is the range I can test with my signal generator. I also tested it with a mobile phone signal and it also has excellent sensitivity at the much higher frequency of about 1000 MHz (GSM 2G phone used), so it is likely that the response is fine at well above my signal generator's range.The sensitivity is well above that of a professional PRO-7000FX detector/frequency meter costing about £750.The thumbwheel is used to turn the sensitivity up or down, and if the unit is set to be just below the first red LED lighting point, this is suitable for testing for mobile phones in the area. Detection range for a GSM mobile phone is over 4 metres using a low sensitivity.The optical unit for camera lens detection works very well.It is necessary to recharge the battery if the 4th red LED will not light.Overall star rating: 5.

review of CC308+ Wireless anti spy and hidden camera finder,I looked around for other reviews before purchasing this and on Amazons US website there were many mixed reviews. Plus some on youtube, so with oppinions divided i decided to buy and take a chance that it was going to be ok.I had purchased some hidden spy cams the key fob type and pen cam and alarm clock. Now how this product detects hidden cameras supposedly, is by the red light it flashes, reflecting off the lens of the hidden camera enabling you to see the light shining back at you, this did not work when i tested it on my own hidden devices even when i knew exactly where they were and was looking hard at that place, and this was the main reason I wanted this item, so i could scan quickly any place i was concerned about hidden cams.The wireless detector part of this item may not be so useful to the majority of users unless you are in a position to disable any WiFi in the area you wish to scan. If you can do this then you will find something that is transmitting ie your phone will start it bleeping when you make a call. Your wireless hub will set it off. So if there is a bug transmitting wireless you can by switching off everything else potentially discover it. Wireless being somewhat limited by range, and the big selection of cheap equipment now available that can record secretly on to its own mini data card would seem like an easier option to your average spy. Especially as you cannot easily detect them with a item such as this. If your worried about being spied upon you would be of to a good start by familiarizing your self with the range of covert cameras that are available, so you know what to look out for. A search for hidden cameras here on amazon would be a good start.This message will self destruct in 60 seconds...

Don’t know what to think, wether it’s real or not? Only reads frequencies even the tv (thought there was camera in it😝). But does make a lot of noise!!

I tested this product when it arrived (good packaging and delivery time) However, I was pleased that it picked up the RF waves from my cordless phones and internet router. A problem that I immediately solved. However, I was very disappointed that it does not pick up the presence of RFID chips that have been covertly implanted into my body over time by several NHS staff. Solving this RFID problem was a key reason for buying the product. However, it does pick up incoming RF signals. This would suggest that it does not send out a handshake signal to activate the passive RFID devices in my body or any RFID signal booster transmitters in my home. This is probably because they are operating on a UHF frequency not RF. However, I found a brilliant solution to this problem by accident with another product sold on Amazon. IT REALLY DOES WORK.

The product is good, the size of the product is fantastic (portable and slim). The only challenge I have is the manual, the characters are extremely too small, not also explanatory enough. The diagramitc presentation is though helpful, but more illustration is required. Thanks

It does everything it said it would and feels durable. It also serves a dual purpose when I'm among people who don't know what the device is. If someone told a lie, whip it out of your pocket, turn it on and set the sensitivity to maximum then say your bulls*** detector is going wild.

I received the item not on its original packaging. It was just in a small ordinary brown box. Although, I tested it once and "it seems" to work. I put it back in the box for the time being and decided to fully make use of it after a week when I'm no longer busy. So after a week, I thought to try the device following the instructions indicated in the leaflet. But since the battery was low, I first charged it. However, I discovered that there was no sign from the green light that the device was fully charged. It remained in the red light throughout the day as still on charge. I started to worry that there must be something wrong with this device. I unplug the charger and started using it. But there was no response from this device. It was totally dead! I was very disappointed that I have not made use of it at all and a total waste of money :-((
