BialettiGasket and Filter for Coffee Maker Moka Dama 12 Cup

I got the wrong size. Go me.5 stars for providing an opportunity to meditate on the unknowableness of all things and the imperfect state of mankind. And for arriving on time and being honest-to-God rubbery seals. Just me ordering the wrong size coming between them and their undoubted coffee-facilitatin' destiny.UPDATE: eventually purchased whole new pot after wrangling with unknown dimensions. Was easier that way. Godspeed your seal purchasing.

This was bought for my 18 cup Bialetti, where the seal was looking a bit worse for wear after nearly three years daily use. A bit of research showed that the filter and seals for the 12 cup and the 18 cup are the same size. This is good news as someone is selling a single seal for the 18 cup for more than this complete set of three seals and a replacement filter! So, if you are looking for spares for your 18 cup, rest assured this fits the bill. Make sure you do at least three runs through of hot water and discard it before you use it for a coffee brew, this enables the new seal to bed in properly (you get a bit of spluttering and leaking at the joint until you do this bedding in) then its fine. Anyway, these are legitimate Bialetti spares that do the job, though they took a couple of weeks to arrive, but I have no problem with that. Now got spares to last for another 9 years or so...

Bialetti is the gold standard and is a classic that has stood the test of time. I today’s throw away consumer economy brilliant to get a well made product that manufactures and makes available quality, replacement, component parts st a reasonable price. The coffee pot could last for ever. N. B. do not put in dishwasher which will remove the glossy finish and reduce the appearance to lead. With smaller models make sure on a gas job that flames do not lock up the sides and melt the handle. An added benefit is that the pot exudes a coffee aroma. Nice.

I finally got around to buying replacement filter and seal. Arrived on time so I was very happy. Product was packaged in a blister pack which I found acceptable on this occasion because it was important to me to know that it was a proper Bialetti spare.Take care to order correct size!! I didn't so now buying another. Have ordered the right size now and will order a smaller Moka too for the other set. 😁☕

I ordered this as it said it is for 4 cups, but instead it is for 3/4 cups. This should have been stated clearly! If your espresso moka is 4 cups then the filter is not as snug as it should be. It works okaish. Did not return as I needed one urgently, but will not order from this seller again as description of the product is incorrect.Just to add another matter, the same product is featured under 3 cups, but it has a picture of packaging 3/4 cups (4 cup product has no picture of the packaging). It is also 30p cheaper! Very misleading!

Couple of days later my item arrived, had a follow up email from the seller. I straight away had a question and in a really really short period of time my question been answered in a friedly way. Wow!!!! I know good costumer service is still exists but dont nowadays it feels a treat!!!The product looks the quality expected from Bialetti stamped made in italy on the filter.I am confident to use it, as I onow if I will have any issue (not sure what....) I am in good hands!I have a Bialetti Rainbow 3 cup and the seller after double checked it with their supplier, confirmed that is the right for my little cutie! Highly responsive and recommended seller and product!!!Thank you!

simple packaging. all came intact and original pieces provided. suitable for multiple moka types that make 3 to 4 cups. I was in doubt about my moka as purchased a while ago but just measure the size of your original rubber and will be fine. Looks a bit loose when replaced but rest reassured it's fine. already used it and my moka worked as usual and no water leaks at all if closed tight and properly as you should. I thought was a bit pricey but if you consider that you get 3 rubber and 1 filter replacement it's not bad as it will last me for ages. I hadn't changed my original one for over two year using my moka only once or twice a week and the filter is still in great condition. using it every day now but I'm sure it will last for long anyway. very satisfied.

Recently purchased these to replace the seal in my Moka. Something I have done multiple times in the years of ownership, using this very product.However, this time it seems the dimensions of the seals have changed. Usually when fitting the filter and seal, they sit tightly in place without any movement. With the new seal fitted (easier than normal) there is some play in the filter.So now, instead of the water travelling steadily up through the spout after passing through the coffee. The water boils in the base chamber, and only a minimal amount of burnt undrinkable coffee spits out through the spoutMoka now unusable....very very disappointing!Come on Bialetti...using a genuine moka, genuine seals...WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR QUALITY CONTROL???
