Plays the music clearly, and the volume buttons function well. However on my headphones the pause button does not function as well. It can be quite temperamental. And if pressure is applied to the jack on the phone the song can be paused unwantedly (this usually happens in my pocket) which can be quite annoying. It can also happen if the device is positioned with the jack resting on anything. But they still play good quality music and seem much stronger than the original beats lead.I have now had a number of these leads, as after a while they become faulty and my headphones will only play out of one ear. It is definitely a problem with the lead as it is resolved when I buy a new lead. Another problem I have noticed is that with everyone of these leads I have had, when using the microphone there is high pitched ringing when you play it back. Not that detrimental but it is a little annoying when on the phone through them.

This lead works well with my iPhone and beats headphones,personally don’t like the plug that goes into your phone,would prefer a straight lead as I use a thick case and have to use the lead with the phone outside of the case as it won’t fit,overall it’s a good quality feel to it and it works.

Looks good, seems robust and hasn't given up on me yet.BUT, can often skip tracks/pause of its own accord if there's any movement between the jack connection and your device. This is mostly when tucked inside my, admittedly rather tight, jeans.Also, people tell me the call quality is garbage when I use this for hands free, but what do you want from a cheap audio wire.I have zero complaints about the audio quality to my headphones.Overall, does the job, for a fraction of the price

A great quality cable to replace my old one and the in-built controls work superbly on Apple iPhone, iPod Touoch and iPad, however I can only start and stop music playing on Android.This is more a minor detail, though. The cable itself works great.

When it is plugged in and I'm using the microphone part there is a constant high pitch buzzing/ringing I only bought this product for the microphone so for me it's not good. Tried swapping the cables around still didn't solve the issue

Used this to link my snowboard helmet to my phone. Works perfects and the red colour matches the highlights on my helmet.Can't really say much about the sound quality as the speakers in my helmet aren't the best but the controls work perfectly and seem to pretty weather proof
