Excellent book, and well worth buying.
This book is very informative and easy to understand. Busch is obviously a very competent and knowledgeable photographer, but can write without using complex jargon .the book is illustrated throughout with high quality text and photos. Well worth buying.

It is very comprehensive and well written. I would fully recommend it to anyone wanting to get to know their camera.

A great book, with clear explanations and photographs. I love my camera but had been so disappointed by the so called 'manual' which came with it. It was nothing more than a 'how to get started' guide.. The Sony website is so difficult to navigate, but this book has everything I need and I'm so pleased I found it. If you want to 'get off auto' then I'd say this is a 'must buy'.

Really helpful and easy to understand book, helped me make the most of my camera.

Bit of a life-saver.
I bought this because the Sony so-called "User Guide" is pretty useless. Busch has produced a very worthwhile "help mate" which is clear and comprehensive and I wouldn't be without it. If you've either bought - or you're thinking of buying - the a5000 it's worth investing a few quid in this book too.

This book is an excellent purchase,,,i spent a fair bit of time reading various reviews before purchasing my camera as i move up one step from point and shoot to the next step,,,,a lot of reading,,but it will be invaluable now and in the future,,, one step at a time.

Highly recommended.
Worth every penny. I just recently picked up the A5000, wanting to get a semi compact camera that I can take some decent pictures with. I really wanted to learn how to get out of automatic mode and this book has helped immensely. Mr. Busch explains EVERY single detail of the camera and how to use it. He gives photography theory and practices and applies them to this specific model. I thought the book was a little pricey for a kindle read, but I now take that back. Totally worth it. I would have never been able to decipher all the different modes and functions on the A5000 without scouring the internet to make sense of everything. This book lays it all out. Highly recommended.
