This gets four stars even though it's cheaply made and prone to breaking (see some other revies of it); with mine, the lugs that retain the battery compartment cover broke on first use. Why four stars? For these reasons: (1) the alternative lamps are no better (read the reviews by disappointed purchasers); (2) this one takes 3 AAA batteries which means less frequent battery changes and lower costs than the lamps that take button-sized batteries; (3) the vendor Xtra-Funky gives a good service -- I received a replacement lamp fairly quickly.So, if you want a clip-on lamp that has decent battery life, this is a good choice. Be careful with the battery compartment cover, it's tricky to put back and no instructions came with the lamp. If my replacement lamp's cover's lugs break off, I'll hold it in place with a rubber band and be satisfied.

Fitted perfectly on prs-600 good lighting spring clip great doesn't mark the device and able to go over a cover takes aaa batteries so no issues for. Finding replacement batteries when needed to replace,bendable stem good too,if you got a multi power supply it has a power male jack socket as well. I found this much better than the ones i used from the pound shop. It's nice sturdy construction rubber on off button feels nice and placed on top of light head which is nicely shaped installing the batteries i found was straight forward slide open install the batteries as shown on the diagram,, inside the battery compartment. Other reviews stated issues with the battery compartment but I found it to be well designed if you are heavy handed you might break something but I found it not to brittle as usually on battery compartments a very worthy five stars.

Very bright, I use it for reading graphic novels at night and it lights them up well enough to see all the colour and details.It is Quite bulky so that's why it loses a star but rather than attach it to my book I put it on the pillow next to me facing the book and it works well.Great value, i have been using it for a couple of hours every night for a couple of months and the batteries are still going strong.Would recommend.

This product is quite good I bought it to go with my kobo unfortunately it is to heavy to stay on however it is useful when I'm doing crafts.

This item was functional, the clip was not practical for beds with round, cylindrical headboard so kept tilting over...

Good fast delivery. Clip is larger than I expected but it does the job, very sturdy. Two light settings which is great and flexible. Enables me to read my kindle in bed. Found also inside of clipping onto kindle can have other uses where a little light is needed due to the sturdy clip. Very pleased with this purchase.

Far and away the best clip-on book light I've ever had. It's wonderfully bright, totally flexible so can be directed away from Husband who inevitably falls asleep first and would previously toss, turn and occasionally groan plaintively, valiantly trying to reach his alpha state while my bedside light blazed on into the early hours. Try enjoying a read as you await each next groan with its concomitant dose of guilt, just when you've reached a really, really good part of the story you cannot put down. The Xtra-Funky's versatile too - I find it highly effective on my laptop, directed on the keyboard. Now, previously long-suffering Husband sleeps like a baby and peace is restored to my home. Thanks to Xtra-Funky there will be one less divorce this year.

Arrived really quick. Really pleased, thank you. Does great job..have had one before and found them to be pretty robust. The one light is good for night light and the two lights nice and bright for reading. Clamp is strong, too. Only drawback is that the battery compartment cover is tricky to fit properly.
