Bright and be seen.
Well I was an adult. Till I got this. Love it. Stayed up till dark to test them out and they are brilliant. Came when said. Bright. And fun. Fits easily. Turns on and off. Very happy just going to add this on. To get the patterns to work and fill the wheel you need to be going over 15 mph. Saddo I have a Speedo. But it's the battery consumption. 3 aaa batteries twice a week. I am only turning on in the morning. I ride 4 miles to work. And change batteries twice a week. So working out very expensive using Duracell batteries.....so have changed my rating .

My children hate me
Still in the packaging. Apparently they’re ‘not cool ‘ and I am ‘still living in the 1970s’. I expect they’d look good on a grifter or a chopper, but I’ll never know.

unbalances the wheel with batteries inserted
this item caused you wheel to vibrate when batteries are inserted due to the fact that the weight is not evenly distributed when you start riding at high speed . i recommend to buy others that have the main unit mounted in the center so weight is evenly distributed when you ride. the item does not also give you the choice to choose which of the 32 patterns to display . it autoplays all including the ones you dont like changing every 4 seconds

The concept is great but it is let down by the electrics.
I bought 2 and one just stops working if you hit a bump in the road. I tried starting it again and the same thing happened time and time again. I checked the battery connections and they are fine. The second one refuses to turn off which makes it more useful than the first one but I have to remove the battery to turn it off which is a bit of a pain. When they are working they are excellent to increase visibility.

Designed to fit to round (not flat) bike spokes
I bought these lights for a “Ride The Night” event. Possibly very effective lights, but designed to fit to round bike spokes. I ultimately didn’t want to attach them to my flat spokes, so never used them. I don’t believe that this was clear from the sales description?

They're pretty, but don't easily fit a Pashley
They're a good invention, look great, but had to be cable-tied on to spokes, as they don't fit all spoke sizes. I ride a Pashley Princess to commute on and the spokes are bigger than some bikes.
