I've spent the last month rehabilitating a silver Betta fish who was in a bad way due to poor care by a previous owner. He's doing better, but I was beginning to think he was the plainest Betta in the world- he was just a kind of dull grey. Today I did a water change and added some Catappa-X (along with some Voogle, which is a product made by the same company). Suddenly my plain grey betta is a bright, shiny silver. I am frankly astonished, I've asked everyone in my household to look just to make sure it's not just my imagination, and they all agree that he looks better than he did mere hours ago. He's also so much more active that I can't get a photo of him that isn't a blur.
