Before I say anything bad about this product I have to remind people its £18.99 so not exactly breaking the bank and I think good value for what it does. Ready to use straight out of the box, comes with a UK plug and is very easy to use. The lights are powerful, has several different settings, and the display it puts on is quite impressive for what you pay. Downside's it feels quite cheap and doesn't have much weight, its a tiny bit noisy while its running and occasionally a light will catch your eye that is a little painful. Also power cable could do with being a bit longer. Overall for what I paid I'm happy with it.

Cheap and cheerful. Our first one didn't work but YOUCHENG (the supplier) replaced it immediate - no quibble - no need even to return the dud. Had a friendly series of emails to make sure everything was ok too. Very good service. There are higher quality, more durable lights out there if you want to pay the extra, but if you're on a tight budget, this is fine and kicks out plenty of light.

This was purchased for a Birthday party that we had at home for a family member. The lights are very bright and the room does not really need to be that dark for them to make a great effect. There are different settings on the unit that allow you to choose different colors and patterns. There are also two setting that you can choose to enable the lights to react to the beat of the music witch makes for a very stunning light show. The unit can be put aside on a shelf or table or it can be mounted to the ceiling but an extension lead would be used for the latter option as the power lead is not that long. There is no setup required you just plug it in. It comes with some instructions that show you what the different settings do and what button to press in order to change through the different lighting modes.For the lights to react to the music the unit does need to be close to a speaker or the music needs to turned up very loud. At our party we had the music on low just in the background and placed the unit next to a speaker and it really did bring the party to life and made for a fantastic atmosphere.The size of the room we used the unit in was 10 foot by 12 but I would say the lights would work great in a much bigger room or even outside in the garden they really are that powerful.Yes there is a slight noise from the motor inside but even with the music on low you can no longer hear this.All in all we are very happy with the lights would recommend for any party or event. For less the £20 delivered they are a superb by in my opinion and feel you wouldn't be disappointed should you make the purchase.Go for it!

arrived in post, came boke as seen in picture in a box that was too small and with an EU plug rather than the stated UK plug. Unfortunately was not able to return in the end due to illness. Consequently no one around me could return it for me either!!! DO NOT BUY. VERY VERY POOR and there are better around.

Arrived the day after order placed. Very impressed with that. Package was a little flimsy. No bubble wrap etc. but product not damaged. The light effects are fabulous. My grandchildren will love this. Why only four stars then? No instructions included therefore I'm not sure how to get the best from it .... Particularly how to get it to respond with music.

fantastic lights. settings for different light effects and also S1 and S2 are sound activated light setting S1 with strobe on and S2 without strobe effect on. Really great. Customer service was great too. Our first one did not work and they sent a replacement quickly and without fuss. It does not come that well packaged and is sent just with a sticker on the box as others have said. Can't fault the product though - fantastic for the price and really love the lighting effects.

just what was needed and as described - good portable size and mains plug lead could had been longer but extension lead sorted that out.

Love these disco lights, really reliable and good fun. My autistic son loves these and it's great you can do whizzy disco settings and more chilled out slower settings. I've also brought these as family presents for Xmas etc when there are multiple kids, they always go down well.
