Taliah WaajidDitch The Itch Bamboo, Basil And Peppermint Anti Itch Serum - 2 oz

My first 2 orders came not packaged so well and some of my product leaked out but the order I received today was packaged very well. My product was leaking and my bottles were wrapped in bubble wrap. I was pleased with this order and the product works good for me. It keeps the itch away and the smell of the bamboo only lasts for a little while. I did have to get use to the smell but it doesn’t bother me now that I’m used to it now.

This WILL work!!! After use of THIS probably 4 to 6 days my scalp never itched like mad crazy like it did before. In fact it cured my unbearable itching. I still minorly itch we all do but it is NO WHERE NEAR the unbearable key word here unbearable itching I had before. when you first apply it there is such a cool minty sensation that you will feel on your scalp that feels like awwwwwwwwwwwww especially before bed time which is what I recommend, let it sit for a couple of minutes and you will be able to not worry about itching or itching to keep you up at night, try this before bed and every morning when you wake up to start your day. It relieved the itching so much and I applied it generously to my scalp all over thinking I have found relief which it very much does relieve your itching but after probably 5 days my head felt like normal again with no drive-you-insane-i-gotta-get-this-crap-out-of-my-head-itching. My daughter is about to get her hair braided and she is going to LOVE this because it works and it works better than the sheabutter products because I tried them all before I got this and it works Im telling you it's worth you buying, get it and get rid of that itch.

The smell of this oil is amazing and it works wonders. I also my scalp every 2 to 3 days for dryness. It has an amazing smell.

Keeps my braids fresh and itchiness under control

It does get rid of the itch. I am allergic to something in some shampoos and if I use one of those, my head itches like crazy! But this stopped it. It does leave my hair a bit oily if I run my fingers through it too much after putting it on my scalp but if I don't do that, it's fine. I would buy again.

After I discovered Taliah Waajid, I was determined to try as many of their products as I could. I very much prefer to buy my hair products from black-owned businesses. Too many natural hair products aren't black owned. Who knows our hair the best? This should be one of the easiest ways we keep money in the community. But I digress. Taliah Waajid is not only black-owned, their products work well. I needed itch relief for mys scalp once I started doing my summer braids. When I found out they had an oil for it, I jumped at the chance to try it. Simply put, it works. It has an almost nonexistent scent, which is great, since my other hair products are so perfume heavy. The oil is light and comes out of the bottle in little drops so you only apply a little at a time. It absorbs into the skin fairly quickly and after a few minutes you feel a slight cooling to the scalp from the peppermint. It left my scalp feeling fresh, light, clean, and itch-free. My only two issues is the size and packaging. I honestly thought it was going to be bigger. This bottle is comparable in size to a bottle of nail polish. That's on me, I guess, for not reading the size amount in the product description, I just assumed based on other scalp oils that I purchased, that this would be bigger. My other complaint is while the bottle came wrapped ins plastic shrink wrap, the cap itself was not on tight and a good amount of it leaked by the time I received it. While there is a little insert to keep the oil from leaking out the top of the cap, it was not affixed to the bottle causing the oil to leak from the bottle itself. I'm hoping I just got a dud bottle because I do plan on eventually buying more. Despite the bottle being relatively small to other scalp oil offerings, a little goes a long way so I estimate this bottle lasting through the rest of the season for me.

I normally love Taliah Waajid’s products BUT this bottle is waaaaay too small to truly take advantage of its benefits and for $25?!

Unfortunately this oil didn’t stop any itching on my scalp but it does smell nice. Instead I tried the Mango and Lime Jamaican Itch Spray for Locs on my twists and that worked much better.
