## Features

- For MM and high-output MC cartridges: Many modern amplifiers do not feature a dedicated phono input. The Phono Box MM is the ideal solution for these hi-fi systems. The Phono Box MM is connected to a line input (AUX, etc.) on the amplifier.
- Dual-mono circuit design for optimum channel separation: a modern circuit design minimises noise and distortion. Particularly low-noise ICs are used.
- A robust metal casing to protect the electronics from vibrations and interference: the integrated shielding and the external power supply leave little room for external interference.
- Compact, space-saving design: Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Phono Box MM can be placed close to the turntable. Both the input and output sockets are hard-gold-plated to prevent corrosion. DC power supply (<1 watt standby consumption): Phono Box MM, black-finished casing, power supply included. For the turntable, we recommend the Pro-Ject Connect it Phono E; for the amplifier, the Connect it Line E.
- Pro-Ject since 1991: Pro-Ject was founded in 1991, at a time when the compact disc and CD players were on the rise, with the mission of offering the best possible analogue experience. When vinyl was declared dead and obsolete, Heinz Lichtenegger did not give up his belief in the turntable. Today, Pro-Ject is part of the vinyl revival and supplies more than 80 countries worldwide.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Want to connect pro-ject vt to Sonos play 5, is this what I need?**
A: Yes, this will allow you to connect your turntable to a Sonos Play 5. You'll just need a 2 RCA to 3.5 jack cable to run from the pre-amp to the play 5.

**Q: Will this connect to the 5 pin tape input in a 1970's decca sound turntable?**
A: The input/output connectors on this pre-amplifier are RCA Phono. If you have a 5 pin DIN output on your turntable you would need a cable with 5 pin DIN at one end and Phono on the other. If you can source one of these then it should work.

**Q: Can I use an Aux cable with this?**
A: Hello Nolan, Thanks for the enquiry, you would generally use an AUX cable/phono cable/RCA cable to connect this into an AMP or HIFI. The cable from the turntable is generally fitted to the deck. Any further questions please let us know. Kind Regards, Sales

**Q: what is the output of the amp?**
A: My understanding is that the amp does not have any output it simply converts the signal from a turntable to one which your current amplifier can then read, therefore you will get the normal performance from your existing amplifier. Mine works well. Hope this helps. J.
