Bought these for my almost 5 year old daughter for Christmas last year......she ABSOLUTELY loved them and played for hours making rings, bracelets, necklaces for me and everyone to wear. Then we just pop them apart and back into the jar. But a year later, these beads are still played with SO much....not just by my daughter, but my son (who is now 7 1/2) who pops beads together to make little "bug creatures" and by friends coming over for playdates. It is easily one of the most played with toys in my house. I just came back on line as I have to order a birthday present for one of my daughter's friends, and I immediately thought of these! Hope she likes them as much as we do!

I bought it for my 3 year old to help with fine motor skills. I didn't noticed that it says it's for 4+. The beads are a bit stiff even for adults to link them together. However it can be played in many other ways e.g. scooping or just pulling them apart. It's good for their little fingers.Pros: nice colour and good varieties of shapes and texturesCons: a bit difficult to put together even for adults

Bought these for my 5 and 2 year old after a long Google hunt based on my eldests description of something she'd played with once at school. They have been such a hit, with children and adults alike! Its a huge pack so you can make a real variety of things with it. The 2 year old loves pulling them apart, there are some really tiny bits so she absolutely needs to be supervised constantly, you wouldn't leave these out unattended for a younger child. Comes with bracelets and rings you can pop beads into but we've had more fun making patterns and necklaces. Some really inventive pieces in here too like little 2 piece flowers and double connectors. I think they have real educational value as well as fun. Thoroughly recommend.

My 3 year old loves this. I had some ancient beads in my jewellery box of the same idea and was delighted to find these were still available. We bought them for our little one's Birthday and once she got the hang of how to pop them together she was away. Even the grown ups (one very happy 73 year old) got involved, perhaps good for activities in elderly patients centres? Inevitably they got everywhere so they'll not last forever and they hurt when you stand on stray ones in the small hours of the morning but they're lots of fun. My little one has never been interested in trying to swallow her toys but I wouldn't have risked buying them if she did and it does say 4+ so we supervise her play. Some of the beaded creations do come apart on their own but there's no risk of a strangling accident happening in that case, I'd rather they came apart easily. Pricey but then it was her main present and I'm hoping they'll last, although casualties have gone up the vacuum cleaner and down the back of the sofa already. Don't buy if you're OCD as the migration of beads will send you overboard!

Bought for my 3 year old. They are quite hard to put together for her and me. My 5yo had more luck but also struggled as the parts bend.Bracelets are small, wouldn't fit a child much older than 6-7

Fantastic toy! Very sturdy, quality materials used and my kids really enjoy making jewellery with it. Both my 3 year old and 7 year old are kept entertained with it. Excellent value for money and the plastic storage container it comes in is also very good quality. Definitely recommend!

I bought as a stocking filler for my granddaughters to use together. They visited yesterday and mom forgot to bring entertainment so I gave this too them. They were busy for a good while. Even their little brother was intrigued but we had to supervise he’s only 18mnths so not in the age appropriate bracket. I would say it’s an excellent toy, it was interesting to the kids and easily stored back in the container a plus for moms. I think I will re buy to replace this but get the larger jar. Money well spent. I would recommend.

I purchased this container of Pop Arty for my kindergarten students to build wonderful things. Girls and boys have had hours of fun making necklaces, bracelets, and rings. This craft is great for building hand strength and fine motor skills.

My 6 year old Granddaughter recieved a traditional jewelry making kit perfect for her age but not my 4 year old Granddaughter... I found this set and she absolutely loved it... Totally age appropriate... Easy to use and it's reusable too! Kept her entertained for over 20min and if you know that age short attention spans... Great creative toy
