Huion A3 LED Touch ADJUSTABLE Illumination Lightbox Lightpad for Craft Design Photo or Tracing

I needed a lightbox for drawing as when I line my drawings I rub out the sketch afterwards, which erodes the lines and I often have to go over the pen lines again. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a ligthbox, nor buy a cheap quality one. Like others I read lots of reviews, and found that most people were pleased with this. So I went along and bought it: and I am absolutely impressed. I am so happy i got this for £60 - because it feels like a bargain! The quality is just so good, the brightness settings and just the overall look and feel is just so superb! I would recommend this lightbox to anyone who's looking for one! I am so so so impressed, 5 stars is just not enough to describe how happy I am with this product. And, for anyone concerned about the cable length as I was, its about a metre long (I'm 5ft 2" and if I hold it in one hand it stretches past the other) which is good for me as I happen to have a plug socket behind my desk and I use an extension lead by my bed anyway. This also comes with a 2-pin plug adaptor which is handy if you're going to travel abroad with this item! The packaging is fantastic as well.

Good and solid product, but clearly overpriced. The lightboard does what it should and works quite well. It is quite thin and light, but these are not really complaints. Nice to have a dimming function, too. However, the build quality (made in China) is average at best, I would say -- and for that, the price is definitely too high. In my box I found an original receipt (from the Chinese retailer, apparently) for 18 US $. Reselling this for almost 70 £ seems brazen to me.

If you want a lightpad, I'd really recommend this one over the slightly cheaper Minisun ones. On a Minisun the cable is on the underside, which in my case meant it severed after a few weeks of use because, obviously, that's where the pressure is placed when in use. With a Minisun you also don't get the option of replacing the cable as it is glued in to the unit. With the Huion however, the cable is detachable and fits to the unit at the side. It's just as bright as the Minisun but feels better made. The adjustable brightness feature is also very useful for my work. There are some downsides: the touch-sensitive button is easy to accidentally turn off when working as it has no lock feature. Also the cable is too short so I'm always having to plug it into extensions. And it did take a while to arrive as I believe it's manufactured in Hong Kong. Still though the delivery was free and the downside factors aren't anywhere near as annoying as the bad points of other lightpads. So: highly recommended.

I bought this three years ago, and I have had issues with it since I bought it. However, I couldn't afford to return it or buy a different one, so I've learned to adapt to using it. The button is verrry touch sensitive; there's been a few times where I've brushed my fingers on it, and it's either dimmed or turned off; however, this isn't a big isssue, and I have been able to live with that. The biggest issues for me were; - The plastic backing comes off very easily, and on several occassions the small circuit board has popped out when trying to unplug the adapter from the light pad. As a fix, I used packing tape to keep the plastic to the board, to prevent the circuit from coming out again, but this hasn't worked too great either. - It flickers and dims a lot, and I have also had issues turning it on. - I unplugged it recently, so I could clean my desk; which once again made the small circuit board come out, and even though I tried my best to gingerly to put it back in, one of the wires must have snagged, and is now completely disconnected from the circuit board. So, now the light pad doesn't turn on at all. It really isn't that great, and I really do believe that for the quality of this product the price should be much cheaper. When I bought this three years ago, it was priced at £70, and after working with it through all of these issues, I really don't believe that it's worth that much. However, I have given it three stars because despite all these issues, it has lasted me three years, and it has been brillaint to work with when it functions properly. The dimming feature is brilliant, as it works with different thicknesses of paper, and the brightness can go up quite high. These issues however, I feel Huion really need to take into consideration to make their product better. Will I be buying this again? .... Unless I can find a better Lightpad, then possibly.

The light box is great, well made and solid. The dimming function is very useful especially for different thicknesses of paper. At first I occasionally brushed the off switch by mistake, but learnt quickly to keep my fingers away from it - very sensitive. I have found that the mains lead needs to be in the light box before it is plugged into the wall or it won't switch on. And if the plug is left in with the light box off, the plug sometimes needs to be unplugged and re-plugged before it lights. The lead is short, about a metre. All this said it still is a fantastic bit of kit - used most days since it arrived. The A3 model is big enough for 2 children to draw on A4 sheets at the same time with lighted area to spare. Speedy delivery and well packaged.

Used this only 3 times and it is already playing up, flickering badly then screen goes dim. Have notified Huion about the fault but they are not very helpful. Because the product comes direct from China I have not been able to return it or get a replacement. My advice is not to order this as you can't get a replaced if it goes wrong. Find a similar product which has a UK supplier.

I've been wanting to get a low profile LED lightbox for some time, to use in my illustration work. I've always been put off by the high price. I saw this for the reduced price and got it straight away. I have been massively impressed with it. It feels like a high quality build. The unit is amazingly thin and lightweight, the light is extremely clean, white, even and bright. The simple touch on/off button that acts as a dimmer is just brilliant. I feel like I'm drawing in the future. The lead that comes with it is a little short, but whatever, no biggy. It even arrived quickly considering it was shipped from hong kong.

Pro: - Sehr geringes Gewicht dafür, dass es so groß ist - verrutscht aber auf dem Tisch nicht, dank Anti-Rutsch-Maßnahme an der Unterseite - Das Papier verrutscht auf dem Leuchttisch auch nicht so leicht, da es an der Oberfläche "hängen bleibt" (Statik?) - Integrierte Lineale mit cm-Maß an den Rändern links und oben, sehr praktisch - Die Helligkeit ist stufenlos verstellbar und der Leuchttisch merkt sich die zuletzt eingestellte Helligkeitsstufe - Lässt sich wesentlich heller einstellen als die teurere Variante von Copic, wodurch man selbst bei Tageslicht und auch mit mehreren Papieren übereinander noch gut arbeiten kann - Dabei oder dadurch ist das Gerät aber trotzdem augenschonender als die Copic-Variante (habe direkten Vergleich, wir verwenden die Copic-Leuchttische an der Uni), schon allein dadurch, dass man durch mehr Helligkeit vom Leuchttisch nicht so nahe ran und angestrengt gucken muss, um die Linien vom unteren Papier noch gut erkennen zu können Contra: - Man kann das Gerät nicht "mit einem Klick" ausschalten wie bei der Copic-Variante, sondern muss einen Moment warten, bis das Licht von hell nach dunkel ausgefaded ist (oder umgekehrt beim Anschalten). Das dauert zwar wirklich nicht lange, 2 Sekunden vielleicht, ist aber etwas nervig, wenn man nur mal schnell sein Bild angucken will, ohne die Linien vom Sketch auf dem Papier drunter durchscheinen zu sehen. - Was nicht ganz stimmt, ist dass das Gerät komplett nicht warm wird. Richtig ist: es wird oben/links/rechts/in der Mitte nicht warm, aber am unteren Rand schon ziemlich. Das ist aber nicht weiter tragisch; es wird nicht so heiß, dass man sich daran verbrennen könnte oder sowas. Genial finde ich, dass ein Eurostecker-Adapter für das UK-Netzteil direkt mitgeliefert wird. Super Service! Mein Fazit: Steht dem teureren Copic-Produkt in nichts nach, kann sogar mehr. Prädikat empfehlenswert. :)

Molto contenta dell'acquisto! La tavoletta è bellissima, sottile e leggera, ha un piano di vetro che comprende anche la cornice, senza dislivelli. Non scalda, ha luminosità regolabile con un comodissimo pulsante a sfioramento che memorizza l'ultima impostazione usata. La luminosità massima è buona, utilizzandola in una stanza semibuia è possibile ricalcare su carta acquarello anche da 300 gr. Ho acquistato la misura A3, ma è possibile lavorare anche con fogli più grandi, fissandoli tra loro e non sulla tavoletta stessa, perchè è un'unico piano, la cornice non è in rilevo e i fogli si possono spostare agevolmente. Ha piedini antiscivolo. La confezione contiene, oltre alla tavoletta, il trasformatore con cavetto (1,5 m) per collegarla alla rete elettrica (con adattatore presa italiana), una clip per fermare i fogli e un manuale in varie lingue, italiano compreso. Consegna rapidissima, buono l'imballaggio.

Excelente producto. Soy ilustradora profesional y es exactamente lo que buscaba para trabajar con las imagenes. Dimensiones, caludad, material con el que esta fabricado, calidadce intensidad de la luz... Excelente en todos los sentidos!

Au contraire de certains autres acheteurs, je n'ai pas eu de problème avec la prise électrique incluse avec cette table de taille A3. Il y a un adaptateur Européen inclut qui est conforme avec les prise électriques en France. Le tableau est un objet bien conçu. Il est tres mince et le plan de travail est en verre. Il y a le possibilité de changer l'intensité de la lumière. Je peut facilement le poser sur un chevalet de table si j'ai besoin de l'incliner. Le seul reproche que j'ai c'est que le cordon électrique est beaucoup trop court (110cm) et il me faut une rallonge. Je crois que ce table lumineux sera très utile pour mes travaux artistiques.

I use this everyday at work and the only worry I have is I dont want to scratch the surface. As a tattoo artist and photographer I love this tool.
