These are just trash. This is the 3rd pair of this type of ear plugs I’ve purchased in my life and they’re awful. They’re incredibly skinny and don’t cover the ear canal and therefore don’t work. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is that I guess these could be useful in scenarios where I only kind of want earplugs in

The media could not be loaded.  Unusually comes with 2 cases. I don't like the big one but it might serve a purpose for someone. The smaller clear box would be my preference.You also get 2 pairs of ear plugs. I find the black and white ones most effective and would be my choice to block some sound of the kids screaming and shouting or when other half is snoring. The clear plugs don't really reduce any noise for me so they are no good.These are not completely noise cancelling but for me the black & white ones did reduce the noise by at least 50% although I don't have a machine to measure such a claim. The search goes on for ones that give me 80% noise reduction.

There’s been some slightly odd choices when it comes to the packaging for these: they come inside a relatively fragile looking plastic box which can then go into a zippable tin box, which is frankly far too big to be pocketable; it's double the height of the plastic box, for no discernable reason whatsoever. I would have much preferred to have a single - and more robust - plastic case!One mildly confusing thing about this item is that you actually get two separate sets of earplugs: one set has a bigger plug/filter and has the pull-tab integrated into the silicone cover; the second set has a smaller plug/filter with the pull-tabs directly integrated into it rather than the silicone cover.Which means that the smaller earplugs are physically longer, and also means that the silicone covers and/or filters aren’t interchangeable.This difference isn’t explained at all in the supplied documentation, though the Amazon description suggests that there’s no functional difference and the size difference is purely to make sure the plugs fit your ears correctly.From some "scientific" testing at a local rock bar, I can say that they definitely reduce the volume, without measurably impacting the audio quality. And while the smaller set seemed like they'd be easier to use, in practice they were a bit too easy to accidentally shove deeper into your ear canals than intended…As such, you're arguably only getting a single set of earplugs, unless you have a friend who can use the pair which don't fit your ears!

The media could not be loaded.  These noise reducing earplugs are really great for many reasons. Personally I am very sensitive to sound and these take the edge off when I'm feeling over stimulated. They also would protect your ears well at concerts or loud events. They come with a metal carry case which keeps them safe and clean in your bag and they also come with a replacement pair of buds which is fab. Very pleased with these!

There's what appears to be two pairs of ear plugs in the box.Are one meant to be smaller than the other, they didn't seem to be so much different to me.However fit of in ear plugs is very personal.As with most ear plugs these reduce the ambient noise - but they do not eliminate it altogether. I found these performed as well as some I have tried at twice the price.Comfort is also very good, I haven't tried sleeping in these as yet, but they lack the hardness (especially the "small" clear model) of some plugs that is an issue for those of us who sleep on our sides, with an ear then pressed to the pillow.The design is also good, the inclusion of a tab does make removing these easier.Packaging is confusing beside the zip pouch you receive a clear box, which to be honest is adequate, and much smaller and so more pocketable, the only advantage to the zip pouch is I guess it is easy to see, and harder to lose, because it is bigger and colourful!
