Having put up with a leaking mixer tap for too long I finally took the plunge and decided to repair or replace and found it was really easy to repair!!! (saving a fair amount of money). The repair itself was actually really easy with only limited tools and ability necessary. Having replaced the valve with this Sedal unit my tap actually works better than before and shuts off easily every time. The quality is excellent with a nice smooth action and I'm really pleased I repaired rather than replace. Sedal have got it going on and I will use this brand going forwards

Bought this cartridge to replace original in a faulty Victorian Plumbing bath mixer tap, the factory fitted one lasting a little over a year, the replacement delivered quickly and easy to fit (see youtube) although early days working well, it feels better quality by its movement when testing it ahead of installing.

Excellent service from start to finish, isolated the water supply and fitted new part within ten minutes. Tested and checked for leaks now working fine. Had to replace urgently as existing part was leaking badly. As a retired plumbing and heating engineer it greaves me to say this but the only thing that needs replacing is the washer assembly but as always the complete unit has to be replaced.Totally unacceptable in my book.

I dare say the product is excellent, but did not do the job of stopping the tap leaking

The cartridge works really well but it didn't fit the B & Q tap without a little work. The locating lugs were too wide and too long for the tap. I files down the length of the lug and drilled out the plastic locator in the tap to fit the width of the lugs. The unit now fits and works really well, quiet and very positive.

I tried to use a cheaper valve from a well known diy/trade outlet. But this didn’t seal and water got past out the top.I brought this as my worn one was a Sedal valve and it worked a treat.

Quick delivery given the circumstances, and a very reasonable price. fitted perfectly in under 2 minutes, no more drips, my old one was leaking from the white plastic lever that sticks up from the cartridge, water was welling up and spilling over, soaking the worktop.Would recommend.

Item pictured exactly what I needed. Item that turned up although the right size had a different gasket pattern so I returned it. Didn't want to risk trying to use it as it was different. If the item that turned up was pictured I would not have bought it. May have worked, who knows...
