Proper review
Hultafors tools are brilliant and this was no different as a professional tradesman I have used many variations of this tool from all the top brands and some did perform quite well but none really compare to this. Mine is mainly used for timber frame use its size makes it perfect for those awkward little spaces I’ve also used it for splitting wood for kindling. It’s unbeatable in terms of build quality and strength. It’s a brilliant addition to the toolkit. I would highly recommend.

Simple and effective
Well worth the money and worthy of a place in your day to day tool-box. It is absolutely ideal for those one-off jobs that are not QUITE worth getting a chisel out for. It is simply made but appears robust and has a tough and secure holster. The holster came as a nice surprise as the knife can safely live in my tool box without getting ruined. It arrived with the main blade super-sharp but the chisel blade much less so. It took an edge fairly easily so it may not stay sharp all that long. It says 'Stainless Steel' but which one? Some are OK for blades but some are far too soft.

The handle is comfortable and quite "grippy"
This is an inexpensive but very serviceable utility knife, and is, in my opinion, well worth the asking price. The blade is approximately 2.5mm thick x 70mm in length x 22mm in width. The blade is "double bevelled" along both cutting edges, and extremely sharp when delivered. The handle is comfortable and quite "grippy", even though it is a simple moulding. It has a purposely "rough" surface within the grip area and doesn't show any tendency to slip. The heel of the handle is almost flat, and looks as though it should be capable of taking reasonably strong blows from a hammer - (although I haven't tried that). The supplied plastic sheath grips the knife well, and is quite serviceable, and the ability to hang the sheath from a clothes button may be of use to some. However, where the sheath is badly let down is that it will only accommodate a belt of up to 40mm depth x 3mm width. Most "workman's" type belts, including my own, are generally 50mm in depth, and this sheath simply cannot be fitted to such a belt. It should also be noted that there is a vertical plastic moulding within the belt loop portion of the sheath, which is designed to keep the sheath secure when hung by a button. This moulding makes the fitting of the sheath onto any belt a near impossible exercise, and I found that I could only accomplish that by completely cutting away that moulding. - Not a good design at all, and one that should be addressed by the manufacturer. Overall, full marks for the knife, but could do much better, (and with no additional manufacturing cost), for the sheath!

Versatile and great value
Second one of these I have owned (lost the first one) and have been delighted with it. Very versatile as used it for rough chiselling, brick splitting and for splitting wood for kindling. Great knife

Strong enough to use as a pry bar
Most of my use for this involves either jabbing it into wood, or forcing it into gaps then using it as a pry bar, which i'm sure it wasn't designed for. However when you just need something sharp and hard to get a tricky job done.. this is usually what I reach for.

Tough little tool at a great price
I bought this knife (or is it a small chisel) on the recommendation of a website that explained how to remove skirting boards. I am in the process of doing just this, before installing laminate flooring. This tool is, as I alluded to before, a cross between a small knife and a chisel. I am using it to start separating the skirting from the wall before inserting a utility bar to do the actually pulling away from the wall. The short blade and robust handle, makes it easy to knock into the gap between skirting and wall, whilst reducing the damage done to both during this action. I have also used it as a knife, opening some packaging when my stanley knife was out of reach, so it works as a basic knife too. Its a handy little tool to have around and is certainly tough. I will always have one of these in my toolkit from now on.

Great for carving wood
I got this craft knife when I wanted to start carving wood. I thought for the price it'd be fine to learn the basics. It's been a couple of months now and even though I have a carving set of knives I still whip out this knife when the wood is being stubborn. This is a pic of something I carved with the knife. It's such an amazing tool for the price. I've put it through hell and it still carves just fine.

Amazing quality and bang/buck
Great knife, extremely heavy duty and a fraction of the cost of competitors. I've thrown a lot of abuse at this blade and it hasn't shown any signs of failure.

Attrezzo utilissimo
