Genuine replacement for original Garmin Watch Band
Apart from being a bit pricy this is a good quality genuine replacement. Screwdrivers are supplied with the band so it's very easy to fit the new band. My original strap lasted 6 years but I only wear the watch for running 3 times per week. Repeated flexing of the band will eventually tear at the stress concentrator areas on the band so the user has to take care not to put too much strain on the band particularly when taking it off, which is when there's the most stress on the band.

A perfect replacement
The repair kit comes with a brand new pair of bands, and all the accessories that is needed to the fix. The work takes 5 minutes and couldn't be easier. I got an advise of not to tighten too hard as the screws can break. I'm passing this advice on.

Good strap and a reasonable price
I purchased this for a family member. They are more than happy with the strap. My brother’s first strap (the same one) lasted him 3 years before it needed changing. Straightforward to fit the new strap. Appears to be of good quality 👍

Genuine replacement for the original strap but likely to have limited lifespan
Bought as the original strap cut in two places (like some of the other reviewers' photos) without ever being damaged - each time there was no particular event that caused it. This is a genuine replacement so is exactly what I wanted, if a little pricey perhaps. Based on the original strap though I imagine it'll only be a year or two before this one goes the same way.

A year in and going strong, reminds me how good the 920XT is...
I was a little wary, but if this isnt the genuine article it is as good as it in my view. I swapped out the broken (clasp) side of the 6 year old strap 12 months ago, pretty easy with the tools and fittings provided. Not a sign of wear. I also have a Roadrunner 745 acquired in the meantime, and I have to say the 920 is back in favour on my runs, just terrific battery life in particular compared to the newer (and admittedly smaller) kit. So the other half of the strap will probably also get used if the original fails.

As good as new again.
Took only a minute or two to fit thanks to the included screwdrivers. Now it's the same look as when new. Pity I get a ras due to the material. A cheap wristband helps.
