Fast, Easy and Good Quality
I'm a novice when it comes to the subject of how slides and negatives should be converted. It's something that I have always wanted to have a go at, however, and this high specification device at a good price seemed to be worth a go.It converts very quickly and, if the source material is in good condition, in high quality too. The settings on the device to enhance the image are easy enough to use.So far I've experimented with 110 and 35m negatives. I've also tried 35mm, 110 and "standard" slides. The results are impressive.Converting 8mm is another matter. It doesn't seem to scan the image properly in the allocated slot, yet does it just fine when you put it in to the one for bigger negatives. The quality of the image it scans from 8mm (I used 40+ year ones that have travelled the world) is superb. To make an actual film of the 8mm scans, though, you'd need to assemble and animate on a PC.I know there are cheaper options out there, but none of them seem to offer as many formats of input as this one. If you've got a pile of negatives or slides and are thinking of getting one to convert them with, in my experience this one cannot be faulted.

Good but one major caveat
I am marking this item down a whole point because it is not a true 22mp scanner. It scans at 14mp and interpolates up to 22mp. This is a big issue as the alleged increased resolution was the deciding factor as to why I chose this scanner. Naughty, naughty - and the product marketing dept needs to make this point a lot clearer.Having got that off my chest.......it still does a good job. Very simple to set up and use out of the box, and very fast when scanning 35mm negatives. I can scan a roll of 36 pics in under 10 mins. Slides are more tricky. The mechanism is very stiff and hard work forcing 1 slide in on one side to push the already scanned slide out the other side. A multi-holder adaptor would be a big help and less fiddly.Quality wise the scanner is good. It produces a 2.7mb JPEG file from a 35mm negative and this gives a healthy 5760 x 3840 pixels; which is more than adequate to fill a 4k UHD television - although I sadly don't have one of these lolIt is possible to adjust the RGB colour gamutes and eV intensity when scanning; but because the LCD screen is so small the results are not reliable. Certainly not with my eyesight! All negatives and slides are prone to aging with yellowing of the blue pigment and bleaching making light areas of pictures appear 'blown'. What I do is to scan the negatives or slides in and then colour correct and adjust intensity using decent photo imaging software on my computer. If you don't want to be disappointed with your pics (especially if your negatives are over 10 years old) then some sort of image editing software is a must have. The ability to scan pics away from your computer and onto a standard SD card is really handy, but not a unique feature. All in all a good product and one that gets the job done. Whether it is better than any other scanner available I can't say; but I reckon its up there with the best.

Archival quality? Not!
I am not really sure what I expected or what I was entitled to expect, given an "advertised" definition of up to 22 million pixels and a price of £98. I've had flatbed film scanners, a Minolta Scanner and a Plustek scanner. They've all disappointed and this is no exception - it's just a lot cheaper and easier to use! On the upside, it worked straight out the box and I was scanning photos in 5 minutes. It didn't screw up my computer, which the Plustek did. On the downside, it renders the photos that I took with my rather expensive film camera no better than a photo taken with an early digital camera. I had hoped that it might be good enough to save me from getting some of my old photos professionally scanned but it isn't close. I give it three stars. 1. It works 2. it's simple to use 3. you can probably print to about 5 x 7.

The conversion works very well & is very nice to sea old photos
The negatives keep hitting against a stop within the unit and have to remove the holder to continue which could break on opening. The conversion works very well & is very nice to sea old photos

Good Quality Product and Simple To Use.
I have retrieved many missing prints on this product by using my old negatives.I am very pleased with the results, the quality of the pictures is exceptional and the flexibility of use is simple to grasp. It is wise to use a memory card if doing a substantial number of negatives. It certainly exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone.

Not fit for purpose
I ordered this to turn my parents slides into digital and preserve memories for the family. Unfortunately Mum and Dad's slides do not fit into the slide holder because they have a plastic surround instead of a cardboard one. This makes the slides too thick to fit into the Evdyo E10 and renders it unfit for the purpose.I'm very disappointed indeed and am returning the Evedyo E10 immediately. My advice would be to check the frames of your slides before buying and consider other alternatives.

Scanning photo slide could be easier
Great device, easy to use, the only negative up to now is the slides I've had for many years are to wide for the cassette and will not slide into and through when the cassette is inserted into the E10. I have to take the cassette out open it and place the slide in the correct position before sliding back into the scanner.Evedyo do you have a cassette that will take wider slides or is there another option?

Easy when understood
The instructions were not too clear. I eventually got it working but was disappointed with the colour balance. Far too red. All my transparencies were good quality Kodachrome. I have made adjustments to the settings and now I am quite satisfied with the results. Very quick and easy to use once understood.
