Just what I was looking for. Very handy for my MacBook Pro. These were life savers through my university years

..mean a life dominated by adapters.Whatever you by needs a lead that you don't have.An adapter or can make an unsuitable lead into something better, and it also useful in its original state.What's not to like?

They are all right. I bought this pack of three rather than a slightly more expensive pack of two from another manufacturer cos i thought i was being thrifty.They work ok and you can fit two next to each other on, so that's good.However, they aren't very well put together, the bit that sticks in the USB slot doesn't feel well attached to the main body of the thing, and sure enough, the first time a USB cable got yanked hard by accident the thing bent and wouldn't work anymore. So now I'm down to two anyway!Later I bought that better 2 pack and for just an extra quid, they are 5x better than these are.So I don't think I'd buy them again but ill happily use them until they inevitably break on me!

This is the perfect USB Type C to USB Type A adapter for Macbook users. You might know that newer generations of Macbook doesn't come with USB Type A adaptor. That is a hassle considering we have majority of laptop accessories still having USB Type A connectivity. Have been using these for more than 1 month now and can't imagine how useful these small little things has been. The size is very small (1 inch to be exact) and can be easily used with the Macbook for connecting any USB Type A devices. No software installation required because this is plug n play. Ideal for transferring data, pics and vids from the mobile to a flash drive when the mobile memory is getting full if I'm away from the home or office computers. Paired this with a quality secure usb flash drive. Much faster than backing up to the cloud or using FTP, especially if there's poor internet connectivity, also saves carrying laptops everywhere for the purpose of dumping phone data onto them, and using these and the keypad flash drives means the data is then secure from theft or loss. At 3 for 3 quid you can't go wrong. Snug fit to both the flash drive and the mobile, with quick data transfer. Top notch.

This is the 3rd set of these adaptors I have bought. I find them very able for conversion of USB 3.0A to USB C connectors. They are compact, lightweight and durable and come supplied in convenient carry box. in 4 years of use they have not failed, and the reason so many have been bought is that they are useful to leave in the office and cost effective to carry a set in a laptop bag.

New technology and legacy devices can sometimes be a pain...I have a new device, it is an Asus Transformer 3 Pro. On the USB front it has 2 ports. A type B 3.0 port and a type C 3.1 port.There is quite some difference in their abilities!I have a break-out hub which allows me to convert the type C 3.1 into 3 x type B 3.0 plus an Ethernet network port, but this is ungainly and bulky when all I need is to convert to a single type B 3.0.(This review is like another language and shouldn't be read aloud 😆).The converters I am reviewing allow me to simply convert my C into a B giving me the flexibility of 2 'normal' USB ports.The converters are well made, click into place securely and feel premium in quality.They will, over time, become less useful I guess, but they will be there for me and my current devices until they are upgraded.In short - these are useful, well made and 'cheap-as-chips'...Grab a couple, you never know when they'll be handy.

After the purchase of a MacBook pro (2016) I had no method of connecting usb devices directly to the machine. I have a USB-C hub but it was a bit limited in providing 2 usb3 ports. I found these under a quick search and after testing a similar product from another company, I took a chance on them. So far I have used them on hard drives, usb flash drives, dvd drives and other usb devices and so far no issues with them. I'll probably order another batch as backups or as cable adaptersUpdateI'm going to remove a star! the casing on two of the adapters came loose when removing them from the MacBook pro. it seems to be a glue issue... not a major problem.. as I can glue them again but just check!
