Eggsnow (pack of 2) eyepiece - eyecup

Warning – this eyepiece may look the same as the Canon part, but it is not fit for purpose. Each of the two provided in the pack had the same problem. When wearing the camera (6D in my case) on a strap, the eyepiece sometimes rubs against clothing. This causes the rubber section to come away from the plastic moulding and once this happens it cannot be replaced without some messy gluing. That’s if you still have it of course, as it tends to drop off unnoticed.Close inspection of the plastic moulding reveals evidence of a mould tool that is dimensionally the same but of poorer quality than Canon’s.Summary – a false economy over the genuine Cannon replacement.

These are cheap but do fit ok. They did fall off but I glued it back on ok.

Purchased these items for my Canon 5D ii, after loosing mine on a photo shoot. The fitting is excellent. Would happily buy these items again.

Good deal, had not realized that there were two in the pack, fits better than the original one that dropped off and now appears to be resting on a beach in sunnier climes.

As good as the far more expensive Canon version!!

Fits Canon EOS 60D perfectly - nice snug fit.

Fitted my Canon 70D ok, no need for the wrist band though, waste of rubber and the planets resources, lost 2 stars because of that.
