When she opened up Maia, my little girl squealed "She's brown like me!"Not cheap, but good quality.

A gift for granddaughter. She loves Lottie dolls, collects them and has many happy hours playing with them, or even just setting them out and looking at them. That's what I call a good toy. Not cheap but worth it to give so much pleasure.

My granddaughter has cochlear implants so it was nice to find something that she can identify with but it's not very big and the price is on the high side. At least it's not some vacuous looking clothes model.

We have ordered three dolls so far and hope that more ranges come out that feature girls in STEM roles. We like the way Lottie dolls are trying to set a new example for the doll industry- empowering children to do important things, whilst steering away from gender stereotypes. The dolls are well-made and have lovely trendy outfits.

Great doll! Love her outfit! My daughter nearly has them all ! There’re great value for money, very well made. The hair never goes frizzy and the clothes are very well made! Love Lottie dolls! Wish I was 6yrs old again!

Love the Lottie collection & this quickly became a favourite for my daughter. The cochlear implant is a nice touch but they are rather overpriced which is a shame.

The parcel arrived one day before the expected date and the doll is simply perfect. The different pieces of clothing are very detailed. My daughter was really happy seeing that her new doll was wearing “special hearings” just like her! I really recommend it!

I fought with the price (more than a Barbie) they quality would be excellent, unfortunately this was not the case. The face drawn on is a bit fuzzy, the clothes a bit tatty with the seams etc. I bought these for the camping set that you can also buy, not had that out box yet, but we will see. They are for my 6yr old granddaughter who wanted a Barbie camping set, but I could not find one, so got this instead, smaller doll, but as said not as good a quality as one would expect for the price.

I love that the Lottie dolls are kid aged, my nieces have plenty of baby dolls and barbie dolls but I think it's cool to not only have dolls that look closer to them and their siblings, but also showing that you don't have to be a grown up to be interested in fossils, photography, cooking, engineering, ballet etc. I also like that the boy version is the same size so the outfits are interchangable (but I do wish there were more boy options). I have been waiting for Mia to come back in stock because one of my nieces wears hearing aids and while I know it doesn't bother her in the slightest, I also know it is important to have representation. I got one for both my nieces so they can have matching dolls.

Regalata ad una ragazza che porta l’impianto cocleare da 2 anni e ha sempre avuto difficoltà ad accettarlo. Sorpresa molto gradita e tanta meraviglia nel vedere che non tutte le bambole sono fatte per essere fisicamente perfette.A parte essere molto carina e di buona qualità Lottie esce dagli stereotipi della bambola perfetta pensata solo come gioco “da femmine”.

Mia ist ein Mädchen wie viele andere - ein Mädchen, das Natur und Tiere liebt. Das sich Gummistiefel, Regenjacke und Hut anzieht, sich den Fotoapparat schnappt, und hinaus geht, um wilde Tiere zu fotografieren. Dass sie dunkelhäutig ist und ein Cochlea-Implantat trägt, wäre für ein Mädchen auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Für eine Puppe aber ist das bemerkenswert.In meiner Kindheit gab es nicht viele Alternativen zu Barbie-Puppen - alle blond, blauäugig, und mit Talenten gesegnet, die eigentlich eher für ähm...erwachsene männliche Kundschaft von Interesse sind.Die Lottie-Puppen hingegen orientieren sich wirklich an Kindern und ihren Interessen:- sie sind nicht durch Make-Up verunstaltet, nicht auf sekundäre Geschlechtsmerkmale reduziert, sondern ganz normale Mädchen und Jungs (vielleicht ein wenig zu zierlich, aber deutlich natürlicher als die pinke Konkurrenz)- sie können auf eigenen Füßen stehen und kommen ohne High Heels aus- mit ihren 18 cm Größe passen sie gut in Kinderhände und werden eigentlich immer mitgeschleppt- durch Kugelgelenke in den Schultern und Hüften sowie knickbare Knie sind sie sehr gut beweglich- die Kleidung ist detailreich und fröhlich, nicht kitschig-rosa- es gibt tolle Varianten der Puppe: von Ballett bis Karate, von der Schmetterlingsschützerin bis zur Piratenkönigin, selbst Astronomin und Roboterbauerin sind vertreten; und es gibt sie mit diversen Haut-, Augen- und Haarfarben, mit Brille, und jetzt auch mit Cochlea-Implantat- die Kleidung lässt sich auch mit Kinderhänden leicht an- und ausziehen: oft Klettverschlüsse, die Stiefel sind hinten offen, und die Arme der Puppe sind aus biegbarem Plastik und verzeihen auch ungeschicktes JackenanziehenAn Mia finde ich besonders toll, dass das "Anderssein" nicht in den Vordergrund gestellt wird sondern einfach zur Puppe dazu gehört, wie eben zu echten Kindern auch - der Fokus liegt aber auf ihren Fähigkeiten und Interessen. Das verdeutlicht auch das mitgelieferte Zubehör: neben alltags- und regenwettertauglicher Kleidung ist dies ein kleiner Fotoapparat, eine Tasche und ein Exemplar der Schülerzeitung, in der Mia ihre Fotos veröffentlicht.Kurzum: Mia ist die Puppe, die ich mir als Kind gewünscht hätte - und ich freue mich riesig, dass meine Tochter mit ihr aufwachsen kann!
