Better Than BouillonVegetarian, No Chicken Base, 8 oz (227 g)

I seriously questioned the health of my mind when I bought this shockingly expensive stock/bouillon recently. I’m not even vegeterian, never mind vegan. Yet....I just ordered it again. Because it is phenomenally good. REALLY, really good. It makes an incredible difference to the taste of any soup. One...or at least I, who is a good cook.... simply doesn’t get that depth of flavour from even the best stock cube or even a homemade stock. No idea HOW they make that stuff but it is absolutely sensational. In regards to the eye watering price - I am consoling myself that I have often paid that much, indeed significantly more, for some hoity-poloity olive oil at the supermarket whose taste WASN’T any better than an oil costing a small fraction of the price. If I had family or friends in the USA I’d beg them to send me this stock as a birthday or Christmas present but, regrettably, I don’t, so I’ll have to fork out for it. Mine arrived ( via Prime) the next day and with a good expiration date on it ( May 2022). NB do refrigerate after opening! In summary: if the thought of spending that much money on flipping broth doesn’t make you hyperventilate ( which it did me)...go for it. Alternatively, ruthlessly pester any and all friends in the USA to send some.

I wanted to try homemade veggie ramen, but have always liked chicken stock rather than veg stock, so... here we are. As others have said, it really does taste pretty much like chicken stock, and really adds a lot of flavour for only a small amount used. I use about a rounded teaspoon (it's very thick, so a rounded teaspoon is easy to do) for 2 cups of water, as I don't like my broth too watery. It adds a decent saltiness but definitely not too much - just pleasantly palatable. I don't understand the problem people have with getting it off the spoon. Just pour the boiling water over the spoon and it will quickly come off into your pan. Then just stir it in the pan and it will dissolve in very little time.The one downside is of course the price, which is really high for such a small jar. So I just make broth now and again to make it last. If you were going to use this regularly it would work out quite expensive to say the least. I will probably order again one day when mine's gone but probably not before trying a few cheaper alternatives first.

Over the last six months, l have changed my diet from meat to plant base diet and this was recommended by a friend. Yes, l thought it was expensive but seeing as it's only me and the jar, lasted me six weeks then it's not bad value for just one person. For me, the taste is the best l have ever tasted and knowing that there is no meat, be it chicken in it astonished me as it taste fantastic and l have checked other companies and on the high street and it's far more expensive if l was to buy it anywhere else but here. It has become my go to when cooking now and l feel l would be lost without it now. If you have never tried it all l can say is, give it a go!

I bought this for the same reason a lot of people probably did as it's reportedly vegan (not that i'm a vegan but I do cook vegan and for vegans sometimes) and it tastes like chicken stock which is something I have always missed as a pescatarian. I've bought two of these so far. One as a present and one for us. If you miss chicken stock (and it does have a remarkable similarity to chicken stock to my tastes) then this is the best I have tried. The problem I have is that the price has just gone up and up and although it's good stuff, reading the ingredients goes to show there is no justification for the price, even when it was £8-9 a jar. Over £15 now? That's just taking advantage of people so for that reason I have fallen out of love for this product as there is no way I could recommend it for that price. It is concentrated but the jar is not big and not filled to the top so I felt a little take advantage of when I opened it up. Now 50% up on the price? No way people. No way..

This is without a doubt the very best chicken seasoning that I’ve tried, i use it to enrich any white vegan protein meals I’m cooking, i.e. mock meats, tofu, tempeh. Made an unbelievable chicken noodle soup, chicken curry, chicken gnocchi soups etc. I have let other non-vegans smell and taste this and the were shocked and genuinely so impressed that it was vegan. I literally can't stop using this. Even diluted in water on it's own makes something drinkable and tasty. If you're vegetarian and looking for a good chicken like substitute, this hits the spot.

Really good flavour! Quite salty so keep that in mind when adding more salt to the dish you’re preparing

The item arrived with some of the contents of the jar having escaped into the packaging. The lid appeared have have previously been opened and then closed insecurely.I am unable to review the product as I deem that the item I received is not fit for human consumption.

Ya en varias ocasiones he comido productos hechos con éste producto, ahora los haremos nosotros para las fiestas, pavo vegano Tofurky... GraciasMe encanto!!! lo voy a seguir comprando en otras versiones.

I use this broth in 99% of my cooking.After going vegetarian a couple years ago I really had a hard time finding broth that my family would enjoy.It has exactly what you would look for in a chicken noodle broth minus the chicken.It can be a little high on the salty side. I just water it down a bit more

tiene 5 estrellas por calidad y sabor, pero realmente es caro, no lo compro mas a menudo por eso.

Very nice chicken broth without chicken. It is very tasty and is perfect for people that don't consume meat and still want the flavour.

Bof... un peu déçue par ce produit qui n'est ni plus ni moins qu'un bouillon de légumes. Très cher finalement pour ce que c'est. Aucun goût de poulet ni de près ni de loin! Je ne recommande pas vraiment
