Would this be suitable for a carburettor to cylinder head on a 4 stroke motorcycle. Obviously it's a very hot area, not sure how hot.

I've used it between carb and cylinder on 4 stroke lawn mower and it's been OK for more than a year. However an on-line check says 'The maximum working temp of the material is 120°C.' However I think I'd still use it for carb to head because if the heat transfer to the carb got up to 120°C I'd worry more about the fuel temperature in the carb

Would this be ok on some main bike engine gaskets?

They are of excellent quality and various thicknesses. I have no doubt they would be just the job for any engine

Sounds ideal for my strimmer carb gasket. not changed one of these before. do you smear both sides with lm grease or use with nothing?

I bought this for my husband to make gaskets for the stationary engines he restores. He says ‘no grease’. HTH
