Draper31687 Bucket, 14.8L, Black

It does buckety things very well. sturdy, strong .. used for rubble , mixing cement , its doing well. It holds water well too , handle is sturdy .... Its a bucketty black beautiful bucket :)

The bucket was perfect for my needs & i now have 2 of them.i’ve just been using one of them & the handle came off & the construcion of the handle is diabolical, very cheap & aweful bucket.

I think four stars is perhaps generous when one considers that the Amazon key denotes four stars as "I like it", after all it is difficult to "like" a black bucket in the same way you might "like" your wife (perhaps wife is not the best thing to have suggested as something you might merely "like", nobody tell mine please). This does of course beg the question, who is five star ("I love it") reviewing a fairly plain black bucket, and for what purpose have they bought this bucket if they do indeed "love it" (it probably best if I don't make any further comparisons with the wife at this stage). Of course, as buckets go, these are fine, they hold water, and even are a perfectly serviceable helmet if you are willing to drill two holes in them. I must warn you, they can’t be used for both purposes though, once you've drilled the requisite eye holes to transform this the otherwise difficult to “like” bucket into a helmet, it will no longer perform particularly well as a receptacle for precisely 14.8 litres of water. Hypothetically, your kitchen will be soaked, and your wife won't five star you anymore.

I bought this bucket because I need two of them to clean my car. It's standard item and I'm happy with quality of it. It's 100% worth money.

Large and sturdy, even when full (of paint - I was mixing paint with water to use in a paint sprayer). The metal in the handle seems maybe a little "weak" - but for the 2-3 days I was using it I had no issues. i.e. for occassional use I think this would be fine and last many years. If I was planning to use a bucket every day then I'd be a little concerned (although like I say, worked fine for me and I didn't have any issues .. it just doesn't look the sturdiest of metal/handle!). Still 5 stars :)

It’s a £5 bucket. You get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful. Not super strong like some you can get but then, those ones are three times the price. I purchased this to use to syphon water from the fish tank. I wouldn’t recommend it for a construction site.

Its a bucket.. It is what it is and does the job, decent value for money. suppose you could maybe find similar slightly cheaper in a shop somewhere but for the sake of pennies and getting it delivered to your door then its worth it.

Product was great just way to much package used, I filled a bin bag of recycling with the packaging
