CasioCasio G-Shock Men's Watch GA-100B

Casio made very good quality watches. I have purchased the red colour version and have been very pleased with it since day one. The watch is very accurate and it also comes with a small amber LED light to see the time at night (I know some reviews said the LED is poor but my honest opinion is it does the job and you can see the time in darkness). The watch is totally water proof and cold weather proof. I have done a weather test myself by leaving it in a bucket overnight as well as leaving it inside my freezer for 24hr. The watch survive in both tests and I have attached photos for your reference. Very happy with the product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sporty looking, strong and reliable watch.

Perfect red with a satin matt finish. Lightweight & comfortable. I am blessed with 9 inches (of wrist size) & it fits on the last pair of holes but looks aok in the hasp & a millimeter of strap still comes through after the securing band is pulled round. Very easy to set up, the easiest Casio I have in fact. Bright silver digits in black LCD displays are perfect. One tiny issue, the hour hand is red with the minute hand white & this makes for a little extra looking to spot it. Only the red does this by the looks of other colours I have looked at.

A great robust watch for someone who likes something a little bit different. Bought in red, which isn't as bright as the picture but a nice pillar box red nonetheless. In some respects a 'neutral' colour that can be worn with any outfit. Substantial watch with chunky face and good solid strap. Comes in a great presentation tin within a box. Made a fantastic present. Great value (£49.99) for a good reliable brand which can withstand the knocks of everyday life.

Managed to grab the red one for just under £46 which I think is a bargain. These are regularly priced between £65 and £110 online at the moment. Bear in mind that this is a fairly old model so it’s worth looking to get this for the best price as there are new g shocks with better features such as solar power and atomic clock syncing etc for similar prices.Let’s get the cons out of the way first. Visibility isn’t great as some reviews have said, the LCD’s are difficult to see in anything other than good daylight conditions. The red hour hand also makes it difficult to pick up the time unless the light is good and the backlight in the dark doesn’t really help that much. You can’t see the LCD’s when it’s dark at all.This isn’t so much a con but you need to know that this is a big watch so for smaller people or those with a small wrist, you might look like you’re wearing a Lifebuoy ring on your wrist.Now for the pros. This is a watch to be worn and worn out in testing conditions. Buy this, do whatever you like wearing it and you’ll probably never break it. This is it’s main selling point in my opinion. It has pretty much all of the features you could need for day to day use, time, auto calendar, world time, stopwatch with lap and split, speed calculator, countdown timer with repeat, multiple alarms with snooze.I think this makes a great every day work or exercise watch that you can throw on or off as you need, knowing that you’re only going to have to check and update the time once a month or so and change the battery every two years.Some people have commented that this is difficult to set and operate but this isn’t the case. My tip here is to ignore the instruction booklet and do a quick YouTube search of the model number and you’ll have it set up in a minute or two without any fuss at all.There are also some reviews saying this is a fake but there’s nothing to indicate that it is fake at all. The auto light feature works perfectly, something which I’m told doesn’t work with a fake g shock. Also, on lots of fake versions of this model, the top left LCD wheel is split into three segments, whereas on the real watch (and on mine) all four segments are present and correct and all work exactly as they should. Another common issue with fakes is that the needle in the top middle window is stuck at the twelve o’clock position, whereas on this watch the needle is set by default to zero and works perfectly when the stopwatch or speed calculator is used, resetting back to zero exactly as it should. So I’d say buy with confidence.If you’re interested, keep your eye on the price of this and other g shocks as they occasionally fluctuate and you may well be able to grab this at a better price if you sit tight.

Another good addition to my G Shock collection. Nothing bad to say about the watch, does what is says on the tin.I'm finding the [very]small print of the handbook difficult to read with failing vision. Excellent G-Shock!The appearance is incredibly good, it screams "sporty" and "stylish" the dial looks like the speedometer on a Ferrari, if it didn't say "Casio" and "G-Shock" on it I would think it was a Ferrari brand watch. It is incredibly accurate and comfortable it gets a lot of attention and looks fantastic, the negative display can be a tiny bit hard to read at times but it's really not too bad and the light is good enough also to light up the hands.Another thing to note is that you can choose to either display the time or the date on the screens below the hands you cannot display both, this is a small issue as the hands will display the time regardless and if you change the time digitally? the hands will move on their own to adjust (Which looks so cool, trust me!)I could not recommend this watch enough! fantastic release from Casio!

The watch is not as bright as the picture, the red colour is darker that the illustration. The item was delivered within the time limit and also a bit crushed with the box itself. It is a birthday gift so there was a bit disappointment as we do tend to keep the watch boxes and tags. Amazon drivers these days!. However the price and delivery from the seller was excellent.

The instructions manual is useless I've figured out how to set the time but can't figure out how to set day and date I'm a massive Casio fan I have 3 but this one I'm not keen on also at night even with the built in light you can't see the hour hand first time I've been disappointed by Casio
