Credit Card Protector With LED Light - 1 RFID Blocking Card Does All to Block RFID / NFC Signals form Credit Cards and Passports; Fit in Wallet and Purse

I was a little sceptical about the claims made for this type of card but decided to take a chance. I wanted three cards, one for me and the others for relatives. I tested all three in various stores and was delighted with the results, all three lit up ok. I think the mistake some of the reviewers may have made is to actually touch down the card on to the store card reader. If you hold your credit card and the 'Signal Red' together above the reader the light will come on and the transaction will be blocked. Touch the card down on the reader and the transaction will go through, After all it's supposed to be contactless and I don't think contacting is a fair trial, a person attempting to skim your card could not get that close. I tried using the app. recommended on the Amazon site to test the cards but my 'phone was not compatible. There is a demo' of the card on YouTube. Hope my review and comments prove to be useful.

I received 2 of these cards one for my husband and one for myself, upon receiving them I took them up to my local shop and scanned my purse the cards were blocked and won't work, also took the card out of my purse and covered it with the card protector the red light came on and stopped the card from working so I can say they are well worth the money and peace of mind to know nobody can scan your cards I would highly recommend these cards

Delivered on time, item as described. Too soon to know how it works.Update i can now give a proper account. The cards do work we have tried it out when we paid for items totalling less than £30 and used Contactless payment, held the Signal Red close by and it blocked the transaction and the LED came on. So very good, but there is an issue or two firstly as the card is normally in your wallet if you were scammed you would never see the light as it goes out again so why have it. Secondly and more importantly beware some shops have these security hoops either side of the exit doors and some times entrances and to areas where they don't want you to take goods i.e toilets, we were in a garden centre yesterday and set the lot off, took awhile to realise what had done it but then thought card so gave it to security so he could try it, sure enough of the alarms went. Really embarrassing. How many stores have these hoops and how many cards out there?

This card fits well into my purse, arrived very quickly. Hopefully, it will never be used, but it gives me peace of mind knowing it's there, looking after my money.

This card appears to work satisfactorily (3 stars = okay) but I was very surprised that the card arrived in just a cellophane cover with no instructions or contact/support details etc. The lack of presentation/instructions also makes it less suitable as stocking filler gift.Given that this isn't one of the cheapest versions of these cards on offer I won't be buying more. In fact, I'd wanted to buy one of these types of card for my father and have bought a different brand which I know comes with instructions/support details etc. in a blister pack. The impression that the presentation of these cards gives is that the seller is lazy which, in turn, leads you to wonder how well supported this product will be in the event of a query.

Excellent service and product at the price. I have placed in my wallet but can't say it has been tested yet (I hope it never will), but this product gives a reassuring peace of mind - just ask anyone who has had card details stolen, you might get refunded but it's a lot of hard work and time to prove your innocence.

Works if the RFID Blocker is sitting in between the card reader and the credit card. Does not work if the RFID blocker is placed underneath the credit card. So this only works if you can manage to keep the RFID blocker in between the card reader and your credit cards, which for me means I would have to purchase two, one for each side of my wallet for it to be effective.A much simpler and cheaper option is to purchase a shielded sleeve to protect your cards.

I finally managed to test the product with a friendly newsagent. As other reviewers have found, the device did indeed block my debit card from doing the touch/pay function. So, as far as I can test it (not having a friendly crook with a scanner totry to read it in my pocket!), I'm now fully protected - as is my wife forwhom I also bought one. Job done - and for c. £12 per unit. Good value!
