Patio Raspberry Ruby Beauty Plant in 2 Litre Pot

After searching for a low growing raspberry bush to go under a window, I ordered the Patio Raspberry 'Ruby Beauty' plant which arrived promptly, well packed and in full foliage, not just bare root as most suppliers I had seen online offering. I followed the included instructions, adding a couple of handfuls of plant and shrub fertilizer and some compost into the hole I had dug for good measure then watered the bush well which I will continue to do daily on dry days until the bush has settled in. It is early days yet as recently planted, but this thornless raspberry bush should grow to 3 ft high - it is around 2 ft high now and looks healthy and happy unstaked in the fruit border, but would also look good in a large pot on the patio. I love it and look forward to picking my first crop of raspberries next year!

The plant arrived as a bare cane and looking like a dry stick. I was thinking it won't survive, but after repotting it, the plant started growing really well and is now looking super nice. In the attached photos, this plant us in the pink planter.However, it is very disappointing that it hasn't produced a single flower,but only grows more and more leaves. Especially when I compare it with other ones we bought recently and are already flowering like crazy (visible on the second photo), even if the have very few leaves.

Very disappointed with quality given the price. Didn't even have an identifying label. It was a present and the recipient had to ask me what it was! Would have returned but difficult as the recipient lives on the other side of the UK. So embarrassed, it looks like I spent £2 on a supermarket plant not £17. At least supermarkets label their plants.

First crop was filled with white worms in the ground that was sent with, after a week the leafs were starting to turn brown from the outside, till it was completely grilled and the plant died. They've accepted to send a new one, but not sure what they will say when they receive a dead plant. Hopefully they don't make me pay for a plant that had worms. Not happy with the quality of the plant but let's hope that the new one lasts longer.

I got this for my mum's birthday. She says it is strong, healthy and growing well. She knows about plants, she's Devonian!

This is a good healthy, bushy plant, approx. 9"/23cm high, which arrived promptly and in good condition. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is because I think that the plants are over-priced.

I purchased this patio raspberry bush beginning of April wanting to wait couple months to see how it established itself before writing review.I have to say that I'm appallingly pleased with the way it is growing!! planted in a 60cm diameter tall pot enough room for it to mature.It has very large healthy leaves &tubes(stems) really looking forward to a hopefully delicious crop😁😊. delivery was early & arrived perfectly packaged.the company will no doubt be receiving a nother order from me soon👵many thanks x

Outstanding! Raspberry cane delivered quickly, safely and in abundant good health. Great looking, healthy foliage. I look forward to planting it in a patio container and reaping the rewards in due time.
