Great clock for dark room
I use this clock in the bedroom. I have blackout curtains but do not want the light of the clock illuminating the room. The time only comes in if you press the top. Ideal for a dark room. The time anoncnents can be turned on and off. So your disturbed through the night

Cheap plastic, scratched and no blacklight
This is a piece of cheap plastic junk. It was scratched all over and even the display that had a film over it was scratched when the film was removed. There's no light off it whatsoever until you press the top, then it lights up for a few seconds.... It's completely black so finding it during the night isn't easy. And to switch the alarm off, the obvious pressing the top doesn't work... you have to fumble with settings buttons underneath it.... junk!

Ceiling light is good, alarm is useless
It works for the ceiling so you can see the time by pressing it night so quiet useful but the whole alarm setting doesn’t work that well so it might just wake you up talking! So I don’t use it for alarm but just to check the time

Not a good LCD clock for projecting time on the ceiling
Sorry but I really dislike this lcd clock. I bought it to put on my bedside table. I use to have a clock which projected the time on the ceiling but this does not do that. It is battery operated which means that if you want to project the time on the ceiling, you have to reach out and press the top down. This is annoying because (a) I don't want to be reaching out in the dark fumbling to press it and (b) when you press down there is a really loud clicking sound which wakes my wife. The ceiling projector is really a complete waste of time. You could have it as a standalone clock but the light does not illuminate the whole time (otherwise the batteries would drain quickly) so you would always need to reach out and press to see the time (and wake your partner up in the process).Better off buying one that is plugged in to the mains and which projects the time onto the ceiling all night.

DOES work off mains, but needs a transformer which isn't supplied
Contrary to other reviews this definitely works off mains - but requires a 5V transformer which is NOT supplied. Otherwise it is batteries.Apart from that for less than £8 delivered it is a good buy. I would like the projection to be on full time, but apart from that it is a good cheap clock to put in a kids room.

dissapointing
I'm not satisfied with this product as it didn't state in the description that the projection isn't constant. Also there was no mains adapter in the package and I don't know whether of not this was an oversight.Having said that it arrived on time.
