Liqui Moly 2770 - Engine Oil Additive

Used in a low mileage Vauxhall Corsa D 1.2 sri with 66k on the clock. Car is due for timing chain kit by 75k and tappets were noisy. Done around 50 miles or so and the tappets have reduced considerably but not completely. Again, used in a well known tappy ish engine so only time will tell if it gets quiet or not haha. Also, chain noise has drastically gone quiet then before! Will be using again when the time comes for an oil chain along with the Ceretec stuff from Liqui moly

This oil treatment additive isn't snake oil, it actually worked. My timing chain and possibly oil pump drive chain were making noise. This product has within 20 miles of driving largely left them virtually silent.The engine hasn't had the best servicing by the previous owners, and I believe there was probably sludge in the tensioners and possibly valve drive gear. Seems to have quietened down my timing chain in my 2014 Audi 3.0TDI

I have a Mercedes e class with the om651. Recently due to cold weather I have started to have a lifter tick on cold starts. Thought I would give this a go and see. It definitely did not work as it is an oil thickener which means now it takes even longer for the oil to get pumped to the top of the engine and fill up the lifters.The fluid is a goopy gel like liquid similar to the drain unclog liquid you find at stores and the bottle design is weird it has a plastic rim on the inside preventing all the liquid from pouring out.Despite not working at fixing my lifter tick the thicker consistency of oil has now made my engine super smoooth overall. It now feels like a petrol car when driven in the city. My car has never been smoother !

My husband added this during a regular oil change and said he noticed the engine ran noticeably smoother and quieter almost right away. He also noticed a slight improvement in fuel efficiency. Easy to add during an oil change and well worth the price. It's not the first time he's used this product and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Efficace sur une 320i e36. Le clac clac au démarrage a été complètement réduit et a quasiment totalement disparu. Néanmoins, il m'a fallu rouler un bon millier de Km après avoir mis l'additif pour qu'il commence à faire effet
