This book is an excellent starting point for children with an interest in learning how to draw. It is simple, as it should be, displaying only 4 easy to follow steps, in the form of increasingly complete drawings, for each animal. Included are pages for practice and a variety of animals ranging from sheep, to cows, to dogs, to octopuses. I read this book using the Amazon Kindle app on my phone.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and was disappointed when it arrived. It's a super thin book. Honestly it looks like something I could find at my local Dollar Store. I paid over $10 for it.

As someone who enjoys painting and is relearning drawing techniques, understand that the hardest part about drawing can be figuring out where to start. This is such a great book for kids to learn how to draw and develop their skills/understanding of drawing. With a little one on the way, I can’t even express just how excited I am to have discovered this book and add to my collection of learning/creative expression tools for my child.

We were Trucking along and then found that suddenly lines disappeared which was crap because we were using pen. Pretty good figures but not overly attractive. I would look for something else but this is okay

This short "how to" is great for children under the age of 8. It's very simplistic in its approach to art. I am not artistic by any means but my daughter and I were able to follow these instructions with no difficulty! But the 4 stars are because I believe theres an error. The dog "how to" comes out twice.
