Philips 12496SVB2 PY21W Silver Vision, Indicator Bulbs with Silver Coating (2 x Bulbs)

Arrived exactly as described and within the delivery time expectation. Would definitely buy again. Perfect orange light when active and nice subtle silver when off, a nice clean & fresh look 👌

I have used these bulbs 💡 for years now compared to older versions the silvering has definitely got less so a tinge of fried egg 🍳 can still be seen in some circumstances but for my needs they are completely satisfactory the old Audi A3 8L has a shield in the indicator rear lights as a the middle portion is clear so I was able to remove the slight orange 🍊 colour on this occasion they seem to be of good quality and value and if my past purchases are anything to go by they last years I would definitely recommend these in some certain circumstances 😀

Much better than the cheap ones for about a fiver a pair on here - totally different construction. These have a pearlescent orangey silver look to the whole glass. The cheapo ones appear to just be chrome paint on top of orange, mostly on the top of the bulb, and are incredibly dim compared to these, so much so that I feel they are unsafe and am sending them back in favour of these. These are less orange looking when off and much brighter when on. I can't in all honesty give them 5 stars because they are expensive but if you want invisible-ish bulbs in clear lenses there's no cheaper option. One thing that bugs me, they don't appear to do the little side repeater ones so I had to buy Osram Diadem which I don't think are quite as good. Also shop around as I've seen them cheaper since buying two pairs from here!

If you own a vehicle with nice headlights and don't want unsightly orange indicator bulbs showing, then i can recommend these bulbs. They appear silver and blend in with the headlamp but actually flash orange when indicator/ hazard light are used. I would buy again .

I ordered these to replace the standard "egg yolk" amber bulbs in the front of my newly purchased car. Whilst they aren't as silver looking as they used to be (legality issues) toey do look much better when fitted and are very silver when looked at end-on. These were easy to fit and, in all honesty, I don't think I could be happier with them. They flash a good deep amber, which is the important bit. Definitely recommended.

Philips silver version indicator bulbs look so much better than standard orange bulbs , they do have the silver affect but you can still see a very slight orange , they are much brighter than other silver affect bulbs on the market but if you want solid silver they are not as bright, I have a dark blue car and for my purpose brighter is better , very happy with purchase

I needed a replacement indicator bulb and found that a pair of these branded bulbs from Amazon only cost a bit more than a single bulb from the usual high street car spares store. These bulbs are really good for cars with a clear indicator glass as the silvered surface makes them disappear, but they still light up amber when the indicator's in operation. I'm very impressed with the replacement and I've got a spare too - bargain!

Very good. The old orange bulbs had the orange coating peel and flake off the bulb glass and make a mess in the light housing. These seem to have an outer chrome translucent cover that should protect from that issue in the future. Also, obviously, the lights dont look as much "orange" as OEM bulbs. Which gives the car a more modern look. They are not 100% silver/chrome, you can still notice a slight orange tint.

Installed these bulbs in smoked tail lights. The bulbs are barely visible when switched off, which gives a much cleaner appearance than standard amber bulbs. When flashing, they still produce a clear amber light and remain highly visible. Very happy with the result.
