ABESTAIR Airbrush Hose Joint 3 way air Spliter Fitting 1/8" with adjust knob valve

This air brush three way hose splitter is a substantial and well engineered piece of equipment. It has two integral drilled holes to enable it to be fixed in place if used at the end of a hose. The ability to use three airbrushes, each with a different colour, is a tremendous boon to the modeller be they an amateur or professional. My Fox Hunter compressor accepts this splitter directly onto the air outlet. The control valves on each individual arm are precise in operation and are easy to use.

This splitter was required to run a pair of airbrushes at fairly low pressure ( less than 20 psi) for model painting. After only a couple of months of light use, one of the connector shots off the main central T-fittting, into which it is simply pushed using a rubber gasket to hold it in place. Once it failed the first time, it could no longer retain pressue and always disconnected. Since the air shutoff valve is on the loose part there was no wayu to shutoff air flow to the one failed path so, this renders the unit completely unusable, as all air will escape the compressor vis the failed connection.

Airbrush hose does not screw fully on to the splitter, I suspect dodgy threads.
