I decided to purchase a spray can to attempt to fix the scratch. but after cleaning and applying 5 coats of Rust Oleum Mirror Effect spray, the scratch is now darker than it was originally. So, i decided to check the spray by spraying a standard glass tumbler and after 5 coats, there is a poor mottled effect silvering, but it is still see through and NOT mirror effect. I am very unimpressed with this product and would not recommend purchasing it again. It could be that I had a 'bad can' but I do not have any confidence in this product and will instead take my mirror to a repair shop.
