Rust-Oleum 150ml Mirror Effect Spray Paint Aerosol - Silver

Not mirror like and patchy, dull silver. Very disappointed and a complete waste of money.

I had scratched my mirror when trying to hang it up and after doing some research, I found that Rust Oleum was getting positive reviews. I decided to purchase a spray can to attempt to fix the scratch. but after cleaning and applying 5 coats of Rust Oleum Mirror Effect spray, the scratch is now darker than it was originally. So, i decided to check the spray by spraying a standard glass tumbler and after 5 coats, there is a poor mottled effect silvering, but it is still see through and NOT mirror effect. I am very unimpressed with this product and would not recommend purchasing it again. It could be that I had a 'bad can' but I do not have any confidence in this product and will instead take my mirror to a repair shop. Ray

It was rubbish no mirror effect when sprayed on product & went streaky.just looked like a dirty grey colour.dont waste your money money buying this product I Bought a can of alloy chrome spray paint from Poundland for £2.50 and it was 3 times the size of the mirror spray paint can and the poundland one did a way better job than the mirror spray paint.

This may not be a fair rating on this product as it's my own fault I may not have read the details properly. It does state: Ideal for glass vases, jars, framed glass, table tops, candle holders, lamps & more. & Transforms clear glass into a mirror. But after painting it on a tray and it appearing very matt grey I read the back of the tin which states produces a mirror effect when painted on the REVERSE side of glass or acrylic. So be warned, it does NOT produce a mirror effect if sprayed on the face of a product.

Bought these for some DIY infinity mirror projects. Sprayed onto to some perfectly flat cut perspex and the paint just collects into tiny globbles and runs. Retried again - this time a very thin coat to start with but the end result was a dull metallic gray reflection. Does not work.

It says mirror effect but it is NOT mirror effect in the slightest. Its just regular Silver/Grey spray!! *See video* I followed three instructions to the letter! Sooo disappointed!! If you are after silver spray You can buy I bigger actual silver "Montana" spray cheaper or the same price! Don't bother with this!

I don't know what this is like on glass but on acrylic it does not work. It does not give a smooth finish and causes stress fractures. When I finally managed to get a smooth finish the mirror side still looked very dull.

Followed the instructions, even cleaned the small piece of gleass with Glass Cleaner and Vineger and then cleaned thouroughly. All i got was a silver finish, (Dull one at that) and absoloutely no reflection what so ever! A very expensive way to try and finish your project with disasterous results. I know this a late review, but many Hospital visits delayed my reply. NOT happy at all with this product
