It leaves a protective layer on the stainless steel so I wouldn't recommend so, I might not be the best thing to ingest with your food.

No, this product does not work at all!

No I don't scrub at all. I spray onto a soft cloth and wipe around the stainless steel post wiping with a spray cleaner. I clean my sink and drainer and stainless steel hob extractor. I also use it on chrome taps and leaves shiny. It also has a nice smell. It will not remove limescale as that is not its purpose. Hope this helps.
