One of the biggest problems when travelling with babies & young children is the accidental undoing of seat belts. BuckleSafe! has been designed to prevent the accidental or deliberate release of safety belt buckles. It's simple to fit, easy to use and ultimately could save a life. How To Use BuckleSafe! 1. Ensure that BuckleSafe! is in its 'closed' position (as supplied) 2. Place BuckleSafe! over the seat belt buckle used to secure your infant seat, covering the red 'release' button 3. Fasten the seatbelt into the buckle in the normal way. In this position the seatbelt is secure and cannot be released 4. To disable BuckleSafe!, simply squeeze simultaneously both buttons on either side and pull apart. This will provide access to the red safety belt 'release' button 5. Simply depress the red 'release' as normal. Please note: BuckleSafe! is only to be used when anchoring an infant seat as described above and where the child seat utilises the safety belt as the fixing method. BuckleSafe! is suitable for over 90% of all car seatbelt buckles. However it is not suitable for sunken seat belt buckles or on the very few vehicles where the buckle thickness is greater than 29mm.

LIFESAVER WHEN DRIVING WITH AN AUTISTIC CHILD
My daughter is severely autistic and wears the Houdini harness in the car but she was unplugging the actual car belt whilst I was driving. (The Houdini harness does not act as a seat belt). As a single parent this terrified me as its not always easy to just pull over, especially when she did it on the dual carriageway, so I purchased this seat buckle guard and it has been a lifesaver. It's easy for adults to undo but not kids. She can no longer unbuckle herself and our car journeys are much safer. I recommend if your children are up and coming escapologists!!!

Essential
Got this to stop other ppl unbuckling my child’s car seat when they are passengers in the back. It works really well and is much better than my temporary fix of jaggy Velcro strips across the release button as that didn’t stop ppl making a mistake and releasing the little one’s seat by accident - good thing I’m so fussy about checking! I’d recommend this as it will give you great peace of mind and make sure your child stays safe!

Unusable in my car
I couldn’t use this as it was no use for my car. My seatbelts are set into the seats & when we put this on we couldn’t get to it to undo the seatbelt. My advice would be to check your seat belt clips before buying. This wasn’t made clear on the description when I ordered it.

Might as well use nothing
Well it must be easy to use as my just turned 2 year old nephew was able to remove it first day. I might need to use cable ties to keep it on. Waste of money? Time will tell.

Plastic broke
Unfortunately the plastic split after a few weeks use, meaning that the seatbelt could be undone.

My daughter uses this for my Grandson because he kept opening his seatbelt now it secure and it can’t be opened by him so she can travel safely

Easily to use and does the job
An absolute must for me as my daughter has learning difficulties (fragile x syndrome and adhd) and will fidget and unclip her seatbelt especially on longer journeys. Easily to use and does the job, although a little stiff at first to unclip the seatbelt as you have to squeeze both sides together to release the buckle guard. Overall its a godsend!
