Good value - bought Amazon renewed product, only the packaging was damaged, item seems sturdy good quality does the job intended, happy with purchase.

I have been using this with my iPad Pro, and while it's a great quality attachment - I can only use it in landscape orientation. My tripod can tilt 90º to make it portrait for vertical filming but there is no support under the ipad to hold it in place when I do that. In general it is very adjustable to fit various devices and fits securely and easily onto a standard tripod mount. Definitely worth the money if the size limit isn't a dealbreaker.

Watching films on my IPad in bed was uncomfortable, a real strain on my neck - I needed it to be positioned at eye level but didn't have anything I could use to do it. I saw this product on Amazon ( I didn't even know there was such a thing, lol) and remembered I had an old tripod for my camera that I no longer used. I attached this mount to it in seconds and hey presto! problem solved. It is a snug fit for my IPad Air and I don't have any problem with it not staying in place. It is not going anywhere. It will also be great for taking photos or recording video on your iPad, if like me, you have an unsteady hand. Excellent device and at excellent price! Highly recommended.

I'm a middle aged bloke, I have loads of nuts and bolts as well as my tools and stuff. And I could not find any bolt with the same thread as the captive nut in this. Not even 2 different tripods I've got, mounts, with 2 different thread bolts, neither fit.Sad smiley.Used a thinner (Meccano actually) long high tensile bolt with big washers and a nyloc nut, works perfect.

Bit flimsy.Didn't last long !

We use this on top of a tripod for my wife to watch streaming while on her exercise airwalker. It’s simple to use and strong.Takes an iPad mini or similar size. Also good on a desk tripod as a Zoom monitor for the same iPadWasn’t sure what the build quality would be like as other similar purchases have let me down recently but this is well made and should last a good while.

Identical to the iKross iPad tripod mount, so who copied who? All the same traits as the iKross too - Holds an iPad3 in landscape mode (only) but make sure it's well clamped if you fit it to a tripod with a 90 degree tilt. My iPad started to slowly slide out until I tightened the clamp! It's a useful piece of kit if like me you want to take hands free video shots, or pan the iPad on a tripod. Only one downside so far, I found there was a slight induced wobble on touching the record button on the iPad screen, so leave time to edit out any wobbles on your shots! This happens no matter how gently you touch the iPad.I've only had it a few of weeks, and having now used it on two or three occasions, it has proved to be a very useful accessory, as I expected. It also seems well made. I can certainly recommend it for anyone who wants to use their tablet as a video camcorder.

This item is well made and arrived promptly. I have no problems with the holder per se, except that I was under the impression (probably didn't look at the photos well enough) that it would swivel to accommodate different sizes of tablets in portrait form. If you, like me, are expecting it to do this then do not buy as it is a rigid structure and does not turn. Otherwise, it is strong enough to hold my tablet horizontally, I might use it if I can change my documents to read that way, or I might keep it until I get a smaller reader.
