Heavy duty, seemingly well made hydraulic hinge
Pleased with quality of this product. I installed on a wooden door measuring 1 and 3/8" wide, (cut /removed area of door for hinge install) approximately 35 pounds in weight. Hinge was ever so slightly narrower but visually not detectable as such when installed. I needed to block/shim under the base plate to account for varying floor heights. As others have noted this hinge does not come with a top pin/pivot that is a separate purchase. The control(s) of the closing speed is excellent. I wanted a self closing swinging door for a hall way / foyer opening. This unit can stay open if pushed to 90 degrees and the closing force is set accordingly. I have modest carpentry skills and found this effort very doable.

Awesome product NOT for beginners
If you intend for it to be truly concealed, it requires a fairly high level of skill. If you do not mind it being exposed just follow the directions most awesome door closer I have ever used.

Easy to adjust closing speeds, well-made
The media could not be loaded. I am using this hardware with a steel grid-frame glass (concealed pivot) door to open into my home office. This is rated for up to 100kg (220#) and the door I installed was ~135# (easily within the limits). As my door was rather bulky and heavy, I chose to pay a contractor to install the door/hardware for me. 2 contractors made quick work of the installation. The parts are well made and have a clean smooth finish. This set ONLY includes the hardware for the bottom of the door, you are responsible for acquiring the needed hardware for the top of the door. You have the ability to control the speed of the door in two separate zones. You can set one speed adjustment for when the door is in the last few degrees of its rotation about to close, and a separate speed adjustment for its rotation beyond that. A simple turn clockwise or counterclockwise with a flat blade screwdriver easily makes an increase or decrease. So far it operates smoothly and quietly, and I am happy with its performance.

Love it, made to last
Kind of thing I was looking forward to installing last generations. I love the weight of it definitely suggest two people for installation. I was able to install the first one by myself however it literally took way too long in comparison to when my friend came and helped.
