These blades are good and last a fair amount of time ( depending on usage of course ).Had mine for a couple of years and just had to replace it. That's what happen when you use it for everything...Would recommend but would also recommend buying specific blades also ( wood,metal or other ) as cutting everything with just one blade will wear it down much quicker.I have used it for wood , including wood infested with nails, and it did the job absolutely fine.Very good blade.

Used this to cut up some steel. Worked extremely well!I have to say, at first, I was extremely uneasy about using this to cut steel but it did the job.It does not spark when cutting and no real heat generated. The blade seems to chip away at the steel rather than actually cut it and the chips fly everywhere and quite a distance.The blade itself seems very durable.I cant stress this enough – MAKE SURE YOU WEAR THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY EQUIPMENT – I was wearing gloves and eye protection etc, but a chip still somehow flicked up behind the eye protection and into my eye!If you have not used a circular saw before also please watch some safety video’s.

CS (circular saw) 185 TCT is an excellent blade. Well balanced, long lasting and good value.Tip : My finding has been that the CS blade is the same blade as the MS The only difference is the MS (Mitre Saw) has print on one side and the CS has the print on the other to aid users unfamiliar with direction of cut.Irrespective of print side, as long as the teeth face the rotation of cut they both work in Evolution saws for 185 TCT blades.Just one small point, the CS (at the time of writing) is considerably cheaper !As these are purely my own findings and opinions, I strongly suggest other buyers do their own research before purchase.Should anyone from Evolution wish to comment on my findings or feel they need to make a correction, please feel free to do so.

I use 'raw' timber from a tree-surgeon and you can never be sure that there aren't bits of nail or even barbed wire hidden in the wood.. with a wood only blade this would be a disaster but these multi material blades just cut straight through, you don't even notice most of the time. Good clean cuts, and last a very long time.

The mesh is really good and the colour is great as it doesn’t look like it’s there

Like for like replacement, definitely had a blunt blade and trying to cut wet wood was not helping matters.Wood did dry out a bit by the time I'd changed the blade but it's great and does a nice job which you'd expect from this brand.
