Took me about 10 minutes on my own, the hardest part was manoeuvring the giant box through my house. Once it's together it feels like something that will outlast most of the stuff in my house. No wobble, no creaking, nothing that makes you think twice about pushing hard on it. As for the actual rowing, it took me a week or so to get my technique anywhere near decent. The PM5 display gives you enough data without overwhelming you, and once I connected it to the Ergdata app I could actually see my splits improving week on week. It feels super solid, the rowing motion is smooth, and the performance monitor makes it easy to track progress. It’s not small, but it breaks down quickly and wheels into a corner, which is a lifesaver in a home gym. Only downside is the seat gets uncomfortable after longer sessions, but a cushion fixed that.
