The model is really detailed and even Comes with a Rei and Akagi miniature. The modke feels like its straight out of the anime with all the small details built into it. It also arrived 10 days early. 10/10 would cause 4th impact.

This model kit was fun to build and has excellent articulation. The legs and feet are quite poseable, and the shoulders move pretty well. The head doesn't look up and down as far as I'd have liked, though the neck does have a very organic feel to its movement. One of the most unique parts of the kit is the design of the arms. The gears in the elbows ratchet, and they come covered in rubber for a more natural look. I have a decent amount of experience assembling model kits, and this one took me about two hours altogether to assemble, and I didn't need to use any glue.If you're basing your purchase on the Amazon pictures alone, keep in mind you'll have to do some painting to get show accuracy. All white pieces aside from the biceps and lower arms are molded in blue, and are supposed to be covered in white stickers, which are included. The quality on the stickers isn't great, however (understandable considering the age of the kit), and the model will look much better if you spend the time to paint them rather than relying on stickers. Also, you'll definitely want to paint the black in between the EVA's torso sections. Just that touch made my kit look phenomenal.The last thing you'll want to note is that this kit comes with an INSANE amount of accessories. From memory, it includes the standard EVA Pallet Rifle, a Pallet Pistol (looks suspiciously like a Desert Eagle), Unit 00's signature sniper rifle, the shield used in Operation Yashima (very satisfyingly detailed), two Progressive Knives (one shaped like a bowie knife and another that looks like a utility knife that was used by Asuka's EVA), a large axe, a removable entry plug, an umbilical power cable, and my personal favorite: the Lance of Longinus. All of these are molded in either black or grey and will need paint to look screen accurate, though the detail on the equipment in general is impressive.Final thoughts:This is a great kit for its age, though it might pale in comparison to some of the newer Rebuild models. If you're a fan of the original, creepily slender design of the Evangelions, however, this is the kit for you. Be careful not to bend the elbows too far forward or back, as it's possible to break them. Also, even though glue is not required, I'd suggest it for certain areas, such as the connection between the umbilical power cable plug and the wire itself.
